Looking forward to this match. Mainly due the exceptionally talent that is Manny Pacquiao vs a once thought of fighter who was ruthless and above reproach(illegal loaded hands).

The night of the fight a man about 506 and 149 lbs will be fighting against a nonstop brawler who is almost 600 ft and will come into the ring weighing about 165 lbs. This fight will be intriguing due to the size difference and ability.

I want Pacman to crush a once favorite fighter of mine. I think Manny will have his hands full, but it will be entertaining based on the way both fight. It will be non stop action and brutal fight. Much like the Cotto vs Margarito fight, but will Manny avoiding the bombs and displaying superior conditioning. Can't wait!

Should be a good fight. I am actually going to watch this fight at the casino and skip the free UFC on Spike. This is probably one of the last time's that will happen.

I am a pacquio fan but I think margarito has a very good chance of pulling off the upset. he is bigger, stronger and has a good chin. If is is as relentless as he was in the cotto fight, he could walk pacquio down and stop him in the later rounds.

The one thing I am annoyed with this card is Kelly Pavlik pulling out. It seems that he is doing this more and more. I suspect the whispers of his drinking problems will get louder and louder.

I still think that Kelly needs to get a new head trainer, such as Roach, Steward or Bloodworth and hope there is no truth to the alcohol problems. I was looking forward to see him in 2008 form.

Westside: You can watch the fight at Fiesta Henderson and there are even fights on the strip that will show the fight. I think that the Pallazzo is showing the fight. I yes I will make a small bet on Margarito to win by KO. Currently 6 for 1.

I could care less about Pacquiao or Margarito!! if a white fighter did what Margarito did, the media would charge "hate crime" and they would be banned from boxing for life.
Pacquiao has been stopped three times, but the media call him great! Waldimir has really been stopped only once andthey call hima bum........Edited by: lost

I have to disagree with you on this one Lost. Manny is a great guy and I'll always be rooting for him except if he fights white fighters. He's a very good person overall unlike some of the scum in boxing(Mayweather and Hopkins).

To Lost: I agree you with you. Margarito is a filthy, cheating Mexican and that is why the Mestizos love him. Paquiao apeared at a fundraiser here in Nevada for Harry Reid and told the large Filipino community in Las Vegas to vote for him. They could both suck my-you-know-what but I will still bet on Margarito because I want to win some lunch money.

Manny weighed in at 144.6 Margarcheato weighed in at the contracted catch weight of 150.

Most fighters and experts are picking Manny to win by 12 to 1. I suspect the first five rounds will be epic.

Never liked Margarito, he just won't learn to speak English (like most Mexicans), Pacquaio's English is at best funny and tight, but he at least tries unlike Margarito. Pac though shouldn't get involved with US politics since it should NEVER be his business, and is NOT American. If I had to choose, I'd go with Pacquiao, he's still a pretty decent guy despite his endorsing of Reid.

Here's a video that came to light a few days ago; Margarito and his
buddy Brandon Rios mocking Freddie Roach and his condition.

I don't have any problem with Mexicans in general, but Margarito is a cheating scoundrel.

I'll be rooting for the classier Manny Pacquiao tonight.

In about 30 mins I will heading out to watch this fight at a bar in the "republic of Santa Monica." I agree, Margarito is an F'ing cheater. And his current side kick Brandon Rios appears to be cheap version of Gayeweather. Talking smack and constantly cursing. Sadly, Rios does have some real talent. He will be fighting on the undercard. If he is fighting against another Hispanic or White, I hope he gets crushed, but its unlikely.

It now appears the fight is becoming a pick fight with odds tighting. No matter, it will be great nevertheless.

I have the Pacman winning on UD. There will be vicious exchanges, hope Manny's chin can sustain Margaritio's heavy hands.

That's by far the worst 12 round beating I've seen in recent memory. Gotta give Margarito some credit for showing tremendous courage, even if it made him look foolish in the end. The referee is a screw-loose for not stopping the fight in the 10th round. Still, I understand some of you guys wanted to see Margarito beaten to a pulp, and well, y'all got your money's worth.

By winning again, Pacman is now an 8-time World Champion, in 8 different weight classes. That's by far the most amazing feat ever in recent boxing history. It also maybe his last fight, since Gayweather will tuck his arrogant butt more on this one! Congratulations to Manny Pacquiao!

There were at least 2 white fighters (one named Mike Lee) who won in the under-cards.

The fight was pretty much par for Pac's course. He crushed Margarito and even showed mercy at the end. I believe Manny had plenty left in the tank and could have easily smashed Margarito's face in and KO'ed him, if he really wanted or needed to.

However, he didn't need to as he was ahead on all the cards easily, and trying to pull off a KO would put him in needless danger.

Being the classier man, Pac chose to just take a clear victory after proving that he is by far the superior fighter.

On a side note, the three national anthems was kind of different... I thought the cheerleaders were a pleasant surprise, and the Filipina chick was okay, but what was with that fruit sining the Mexican national anthem? What an embarrassment.

Also, I like how the entire stadium died during an odd pre-fight music performance when that crotch-grabbing f**kface "Nelly" tried to rap about sh-- that had NOTHING to do with boxing, and he had this "I'm a retarded squirrel" look on his face when he realized no one cared about his asstastic music, and he wasn't getting any pop from the crowd. LOL.

Give it up, Nelly! You sucked in '02, and you suck even more now!

As for Mayweather, he'd never put the beatdown on Tony the way Pac did.

Yeah that was an incredible display of boxing skill and verocity. I thought when Manny rocked him in the 10th it might be over.

I agree, WTF is Nelly singing some nonsensicle cRap noise song! It took up atleast 10 minutes of my precious life. F him. I guess Jerry Jones has a take in his next cRap CD. Those three blonde cheerleaders sounded great though.

Winning 8 titles in 8 weight classifications is remarkable and will never be accomplished again, against world class fighters.

I kept my fingers crossed and hoped a black person will NOT sing the US anthem, and I got my wish... 3 Beautiful Blond chicks!!! Their rendition of the US anthem was music to my ears, in fact I found a clip of the US anthem sung by the cheerleaders during Pacman's bout vs. Clotty... Enjoy!

[TUBE]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0fdTDSC2lc[/TUBE]

The Filipina chick who sung the Philippine anthem did fine, but (NO disrespect to Mexico & it's folks) I honestly NEVER found the Mexican Anthem pleasing to the ears. It's long and out of tune at times (IMO). The unnecessary concert by Nelly & Co. was just plain stupid, WTF were he and Bob Arum thinking?

Anyway, that was a classy display of sportsmanship by Pacquiao. He could've sent Margarito to the canvas anytime, but didn't need to for the job has been done. The reason I respect Pacquiao, because he's NOT black or Mexican, he's a classy person from the Orient.

By the end of the fight, Margarito looked like Rocky Dennis from "Mask"
