Good post Bear-arms! I have always felt that there was a lot of good hockey besides the NHL. There are minor league teams that are ten times more fun to watch then many NHLers.

Also, it is NCAA hockey tournament time. The NCAA tournament is (to me) better then the NCAA basketball one. Fewer teams and more action. And for me the local teams (U of Mich and/or Mich State) are always in it.

The CCHA just finished it's post season tounament which ended with a UM/OSU game that was every bit as exciting as the football version that ends each season. If you are lucky enough to get TV coverage of these games, and you like hockey, watch them. College hockey is better then the pros, no holding, clutching, or fighting. Just end to end action. Only negative: goaltending is bad.

GO MAIZE AND BLUE!!!!!!!!
