After all the round robin games Canada and the US look like the best teams. Finland and Sweden deserve an honourable mention. However it looks like a Canada v USA semi-final on Friday assuming the Canadians get past Switzerland (if the Swiss win on Tuesday against Latvia) a team Canada has had trouble with in the last two Olympics, and the US beats either the Czech Republic or Slovakia. The Russians have been mediocre so far but at least they avoid both North American teams before the final.
BTW I think the penalty shoot out rules are ridiculous in that they allow the same player to take one shot after another as we saw in the US win against Russia.
