It was announced today that NIkola Jokic has won the 2021 NBA MVP Award. This is well deserved and it could be the first of many. He deserves his own thread. https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id...la-jokic-wins-first-nba-mvp-award-sources-say
Here are his stats for the season and as you can see Nikola Jokic averaged almost a triple double for the season. What a great basketball player he is. He is alot like a bigger version of Larry Bird as he sees the whole floor. https://www.espn.com/nba/player/_/id/3112335/nikola-jokic
CONGRATS to the Joker! The lowest pick @ 41 to ever Win MVP! During the NBA Draft he was taken during a Taco Bell commercial! https://twitter.com/association/status/1402379642745524237
Well deserved. Joins Steve Nash (x2), Dirk, and Larry Bird (x3); 7 White MVPs in the past 35 years. I expect Luka to get at least 2 MVPs over the next few years.
Congratulations to Jokic. He is the complete player. My observation is that the best players from the former Yugoslavia( population 23 million) would beat the best players from black America( population 47 million). It would be a great caste matchup. With Doncic and others they would win a seven game series 4-1/4-2.
I feel so bad for Nikola Jokic. He is not getting any help in the 2nd round of the playoffs. How did Jokic do tonight you ask? Nikola Jokic had 32 points, 20 rebounds, 10 assists and 1 block. He is getting no help. The guy is the MVP but he has very little support and this is unfortunate. What a game and what a playoffs he has had. This guy is a legend!
Jokic was ejected in last night's game for a flagrant 2 foul. The call was borderline at best, never would have been called on King James in a million years. https://www.espn.com/nba/
You took the the words right out of my mouth. This was so unfair. At least Lebron James and the Lakers were knocked out in the first round of the playoffs. Even with the Nuggets not making the NBA Finals, they still have made the playoffs several years in a row. Jokic won the NBA MVP by a overwhelming vote. They need to get more shooters around him to help this team advance further. Nikola was the most dominant player in the regular season and in the NBA Playoffs but he can't do it all himself. Congrats to Jokic on an amazing year!
Great News!!! I do not watch the NBA any longer nor do I watch BSPN online or on TV. This came as a great surprise. I watched his hi-lights on YouTube. He reminds me of a bigger Larry Bird and his athletism is off the charts.
I am looking for the NBA to come down hard on Jokic for his foul on a Miami player last night. Look for a big fine and suspension. I don't blame him for doing what he did but they will come down harder on a white player. https://www.si.com/nba/heat/miami-news/miami-heat-markieff-morris-injury
I could be wrong but it looks waaay too much like the Black player is faking. Maybe not, but what else can we expect from things we've seen over and over. And of course the (((Commie anti-White media))) is it's typical hating on Whites crap. And as usual the Black started it...then plays victim. What else is new?...
believe it or not it’s been the black sports commentators sticking up for jokic. Shaq and Charles Barkley (who usually have no problem calling out affletes baffoonery, and have gotten in trouble for it in the past) stick up for jokic here and clown Morris. Of course the token white cuck Ernie Johnson has to be dramatic and cry “what about what jokic did”. Good for chuck and shaq
Jokic is one of the best examples of anti-white bias in basketball. He was drafted 41st overall, despite having MVP potential and being 6'11 with a 7'3 wingspan. Just like Arvydas Sabonis not getting an opportunity to play in the NBA until his 30s, despite being 7'3 with a 7'6 wingspan and being visibly levels ahead of the average NBA big at the time. If NBA talent evaluators almost missed such obvious prospects, college talent evaluators are probably missing less physically obvious prospects like Stockton, Nash and Ginobili all the time.
Excellent post and yes your right about what you said. Jokic is one of the favorites to win the NBA MVP again but we are only about halfway through the season. In my honest opinion it's not even close. He leads the NBA in Triple Doubles with 12 of them! He is second in rebounding, 6th in scoring and can do a little of everything on the basketball court. The guy is also an iron man as he rarely gets hurt despite banging with other giants night after night. Jokic is amazing! Yes just like in football we will never see many of our guys get a chance unless things change. As we've seen with the plandemic, most people don't question anything. They just believe what the tv and the rulers tell them. Unless things change and more people wake up, our problems will be above & beyond just sports. It's a battle for the survival of the european civilizations of the world.
Yesireeee! https://www.si.com/nba/2022/05/09/nikola-jokic-nuggets-wins-second-consecutive-mvp From the article: "In addition to posting some of the best numbers of his career this season, Jokic now also stands alone with his counting stats in three major categories. He is the first player in the history of the NBA to record 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds and 500 assists in a season."
This is amazing guys. Our guys in all sports have been winning awards at the highest levels in decades. The last white guy to win back to back NBA MVP Awards was Steve Nash. It's ironic that it's never an american born white unless you go back 40 years or more. It's always the european guys or a canadian guy like Nash. Regardless it helps our cause for equality in sports. We all know that we should not be seeing so many all black teams with no cries of racism. If you have even 6 of the 12 players on a team that are white the media demads to break the team up. This is so unfair. Can you imagine what they would write if there was ever a 100% white team? There never will be as it's not allowed. Only racism against whites is allowed. Back to Jokic. He has to be the best all around player in NBA History period. I've never seen any center do the things he does. So happy he is gonna win again. He deserves it and he is such a great leader yet remains a humble guy. Just don't piss him off or Jokic becomes a Grizzly Bear you don't want to mess with!
Yep, and it will be officially announced on Thursday, I think. Jokic is fearless in ways like Larry Bird was. Great to see him snag another MVP!
