For anybody who thought the hamstring thing was a conspiracy you can tell by his play on the field that its not. Something is obviously wrong, he isn't even close to 100 percent even though hes managed to have a good day. Unless you think he isn't playing 100 percent. It could be that he is rusty but the agility and burst he usually has isn't there all the way.

He could be at 120% and he wouldn't have gained much yardage today.

All we can hope for is a win by Tebow to overshadow this. The Colts are a pathetic team, Caldwell is right up there with Frazier and Shurmur as the worst coach in the NFL.

the same type of coach who runs Percy Harvin 2 consecutive times in a goal line situation back them up, and then putting Gerhart in with an obvious run play, and surprisingly they ran! the smart choice would have been either let Gerhart get more than 1 try at it, or play action after bringing him in.

the cutback was there on one of the stretch plays, Hillis didn't hit it. He just isn't 100 percent yet. Just goes to show that him not fully recovered is still better than what they have. He dealt with bad play calling and crappy blocking last year and still came on top with 4.4 ypc. On a better team he should be able to average over 5 ypc. He is one of the rare backs that can do well no matter what, there are only a few like that in the NFL. Would it help? yes especially right now.

all Im saying is, Hillis is capable of much more, regardless of the circumstances he can make things happen. He isn't Michael Turner, he doesn't need great blocking and the right play calls to get positive yardage. Hopefully we can see him closer to 100 percent next week. Its upsetting but his circumstances aren't going to change this year. Nobody else is going to point to the play calling and the blocking when its time to change teams and whether he should be the feature back.
