@wile, don’t sell yourself short. With a lot of hard work and study, you could become a “rocket surgeon” someday. :)

Our newest member probably thinks black refs are the future of the game and are the best you can get.

I'm sure that's the same guy that's been banned half a dozen times already. Every few months he comes back with a new name and the same old "we wuz kangz" shtick.

The year of black privilege continues in the NFL with Josh Gordon being reinstated after his 5th suspension. Antonio Brown, Aldon Smith and Randy Gregory have all been reinstated this year too. A real collection of turds.

Josh Gordon has been reinstated by the NFL.
Gordon, unbelievably just 29 years old, is coming back from his fifth NFL suspension. He was suspended without pay for violating NFL policies on performance-enhancing substances and substances of abuse. In September, Gordon signed a one-year, $1 million deal with the Seahawks. Gordon, who had seven catches on 11 targets for the Seahawks in 2019, won't be eligible to practice with the team until December 21. That puts him on track to play in the Seahawks' Week 15 game against Washington. It's hard to imagine a scenario in which Gordon will be useful for fantasy purposes. His 87-catch, 1,646-yard 2013 season was a lifetime ago.

Good news. I will definitely keep an eye on the Bills.

Blake Cashman's season is over as the Jets put him on IR for the second time this season following spending his rookie year on IR. It's a shame as he was being groomed to be their starting ILB this year, which is one of the reasons they traded Avery Williamson to the Steelers.

I'm a bit late commenting on this but I found it hilarious when BSPN were creaming themselves over that all black officiating clue then at the end of the segment a black reporter comments how it doesn't matter what race the officials are. Surely DWFs can see this hypocrisy they mentioned diversity while cheering on an all black officiating crew. Although anyone paying attention knows diversity just means less white people. How can ordinary white people tolerate this garbage invading the entertainment industry? How brainwashed is the average American to not take offence to this?

@Hartline great to see you back here posting!

Great post and I totally agree.

Bud Dupree out for the Steelers.....Serious knee injury....Out for the year.

One article has Clay Matthews or Brooks Reid as good pickups for Pittsburgh....
They also mentioned Suggs and others.....They will grab someone.

After coming into the game last Sunday, Nick Vigil had 8 tackles, 6 of them solo, and a forced fumble. It's about time he started again, though it took an injury for it to happen.

Denzel Perryman (back) is doubtful for Sunday's game versus the Patriots. While X-rays on Monday didn't reveal any significant damage, Perryman was unable to practice this week and likely will miss his first game this season. Nick Vigil should start at middle linebacker in his place. The Chargers will need to elevate players from the practice squad to add depth to the second level.

The Bengals could of had a Nick Vigil and Logan Wilson LB tandem. Glad to see Vigil get some meaningful playing time down the stretch. A good LB for sure.

Adam Humphries (concussion) will play in Week 13 against the Browns. After missing a month of game action following a scary concussion in early November, Humphries will resume his role as the Titans' slot receiver. He's only viable in larger PPR formats against Cleveland in what could be a high-scoring affair.

I was getting the inside of my car cleaned today, so had to sit inside the car wash for about 45 minutes. Of course there are no magazines or newspapers to read anymore in car washes or doctors offices or anyplace else as they might transmit the Chinese cooties, and the only TV was set to ESPN, with the volume off (maybe Dr. Fauci decreed that television audio helps spread the virus), so I watched and read the captions. Blabbering was the Duo from Hell, Stephen A. Smiff and Max Kellerman. They took turns condemning Greg Williams, the Jets' defensive coordinator, who was fired today after the Raiders beat the Jets on a last second long pass from Derek Carr to Henry Ruggs. Williams's crime was calling for a blitz on the play.

While both boys railed against Williams, the game winning play was shown over and over. The clear goat was the Jets' defensive back who was beaten by Ruggs. I didn't get his name as he was never mentioned in the conversation. Ruggs is very fast, so the idea, as with any prevent defense situation, was not to let Ruggs get by the defender under any circumstances, keeping him in front so that as long as he made a catch anywhere but in the endzone the Jets win their first game of the season. Instead the defender was easily juked by Ruggs, who ran past him and caught Carr's perfect pass in the endzone with 5 seconds left.

Maybe Williams made a bad call, maybe he didn't, but as we know, if the Jets defender who was beaten in that crucial type of situation had been Chris Conte or Troy Apke or (fill in the blank with just about any White d-back past or present), the media (and therefore the DWF) slant would have been completely different. Instead the pathetic Jets d-back -- I mentioned early on in the Week 13 thread that the Jets may have the worst defensive backfield ever -- emerges unscathed in order to stink again next week.

That is the sensible take in my opinion. If the corner simply didn’t let the receiver get behind him or the pressure forced an errant throw (Carr made a difficult throw) it’s a moot point. Also the media acts like dropping all the defenders to the endzone guarantees a victory. Did they crucify the Buffalo defensive coordinator when Hopkins caught the Hail Mary a few weeks back?

The NY sports talk media, being lead by Boomer Esiason, have a different take. They are claiming that Williams’ does not get along with Adam Gaise and that the “terrible call” was made to make the HC look bad. Apparently Boomer was incensed over this during his morning show. Is this a Caste cope or a valid insight I wonder?

Greg Williams has a bit of a goon mentality, being the mastermind of "Bountygate" and obviously not popular among the usual suspects. But my post was to illustrate the total exculpation of the CB who made an inexcusable game-losing play, at least in the eyes of Smiff and Kellerman. I don't follow the corporate sports media and watched ESPN only because I was a captive in a carwash, so maybe it isn't as totally as one-sided as what I saw but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if it is.

Jalen Hurts starting vs the Saints next week. Wentz needs to get the hell out of Philly. A change of scenery would do him good like it did with Ryan Tannehill.

I'm hoping Wentz gets traded to the Colts. He had his best season while Reich was the OC of the Eagles. The Eagles are just a downright bad team, poor drafting, bad free agent signings, crap players on the roster, awful offensive scheme are all much more of an issue than Wentz.

Glad he debuts against the best team in The NFC and not some cupcake. All the more reason to cheer for Hill and Hendrickson to wreak havoc. Be nice to see Anzalone make another appearance but go Saints.

The Eagles are an unmitigated disaster. Bad coaching, atrocious O-line, and no skill players. I’m glad Carson gets a chance to sit and take a break. He probably has PTSD from from what he’s been through this year.

Damn Spillane to miss some time. He was definitely a feel good story in this messed up 20 season.

Just a game or two.....
I was afraid it was an ACL.

As long as he comes back and regains his starting status, which I believe he will....

Good news, here's to a speedy recovery and see him back around playoff time!
