I bet Tom Brady is so glad AB never took him up on his offer of letting him stay inside his home. One thing for sure, never allow AB around his wife!

Here’s the video of Brown breaking wind and laughing about it while being examined by a doctor for body fat. His friend was filming, so I assume this was an intentional act to embarrass the white doctor and upload the video for laughs. While this is probably the least offensive act that Brown has committed recently, it shows his juvenile mentality and false sense of superiority over others...

After gassing the doctor, Brown didn’t pay his bill and is being sued.

After a healthy 2018, Anzalone is back to his injury prone ways:

Saints LB Alex Anzalone has been placed on the injured reserve list.
Kiko Alonso is expected to start in place of Anzalone for the Saints' Week 3 matchup against the Seahawks. Anzalone's absence is great news for Chris Carson, Rashaad Penny and the Seahawks' run-first offense.

Hopefully Rudolph does well and potentially sets himself up as the next starting QB of the Steelers longer term. But what of the Roethlisberger/Tomlin era? Ben has already contemplated retirement before, and Tomlin sure seems to have a long leash. What will it take for sacred cow Mike Tomlin to be let go? Maybe another poor showing this season will do it.

After winning the SB with Bill Cowher/Dick LeBeau’s players 11 years ago, Tomlin hasn’t done much at all. One more SB appearance in 2011 and just one conference championship in
2016 when they were trashed by the Patriots. The Rooneys almost have a Mike Brown/Marvin X type relationship with Tomlin, it may take multiple losing seasons in a row before he’s removed, if that.

The Steelers pride themselves on being the only professional sports franchise that doesn't fire head coaches. Chuck Noll and Bill Cowher both retired. Tomlin is the third head coach over the past 51 seasons.

Mike Tomlin was a Rooney Rule hire, which makes him doubly the beneficiary of the Rooneys' reluctance to fire the coach. And although Tomlin has lots of critics due to his arrogance, terrible clock management and poor strategic decisions in general, and the tendency to see himself as another one of the (black) boys on the team, he also has a 125-68-1 regular season coaching mark and has never had a losing season, though several of his teams have underachieved compared to the talent on the roster, and he's not been successful in the playoffs since the early Super Bowl win; in particular the Patriots and Bill Belichick simply own Tomlin and the Steelers.

Local sports show host Mark Madden speculated a while back that Tomlin would retire (move on) when Big Ben retired, so if Ben's injury looks to be a career ender and the team decides to rebuild, there's a chance Tomlin resigns or is fired.

And the only one who's played to his draft status is T. J. Watt.

Steelers placed S Sean Davis (shoulder) on injured reserve.
Paxton Lynch was signed to the practice squad in a corresponding move. With Davis likely done for the year, recent acquisition Minkah Fitzpatrick will slide seamlessly into Pittsburgh's vacant free safety spot. The team now has eight former first-rounders on defense.

Sounds like Scam may be out this week. If so it should lead to a more balanced offense.

Nice to see a guy in the mainstream sports media cut straight through this Bridgewater BS

I'm happy to hear such talk but at the same time, not happy to hear them acting perplexed about Hill not starting over Bridgewater. They know perfectly well what's going on with the race issue in the league.

That and they're paying St. Bridgewater $7 million for the season to be "the" backup.

This was nothing new for him. He was always injured at Florida. It's too bad, because when he wasn't he was the best linebacker on the field during that time. He came in a stacked LB class for us in 2013, along with Jarrad Davis & Daniel McMillian. As it happens, Anzalone was the highest rated of the 3, but was never expected to live up to his star rating from many recruitniks. Davis actually outperformed his 3 star rating quite a bit & ended up a first round pick for the lions. Davis has had 196 tackles in the last 2 years, so I'm okay with that. He's actually a well spoken guy, so I'll give him credit for that too (all things considered). HOWEVER, the pride of the LB class that year was Daniel McMillian. A 4 star athlete out of Jacksonville who never cut it even as a backup at Florida. And then this
I do hope Anzalone heals up & can stay healthy in coming years. And I thought the Saints were the biggest threat to the Patriots this year haha.

Something newsworthy out of the QB realm. It looks like Daniel Jones will start over Eli Manning against Tampa Bay this week. I'm actually quite happy about that. It's always good to get some new fresh faces in big market teams, especially at QB, e.g., Jared Goff, Carson Wentz, Mitch Trubiski. And it's especially great to see him succeed given how much flack the Giants got for taking him so early in the draft.

Giants May Not Admit It, but Daniel Jones Already a Better Fit Than Eli Manning

I don't know much about Daniel Jones (I barely watched Duke), but you have games like Giants/Bucs and - well - I predict Tampa will win. Jameis may very well be resurrected by the media. I could be wrong.

Terrible news regarding LB Anzalone. Speaking of the Saints we might get a fresh lesson on black locker room politics this week. We have already seen two petulant black DBs forcing the hands of ownership already this week.

Crybaby media hero from Alabama S M Fitzpactrick demanded a trade and his wish is their command. Presto he lands on the Steelers while Miami gets yet another first round pick.

Terminal prick Jags CB Jalen Ramsey "got into it" on the sidelines with HC Doug Marrone leading up to speculation that they will have to move his royal highness because he is "displeased" as to where the franchise is headed. By the way the overrated Jags have been a caste staple for years and the media was relentlessly cruel and merciless on ex QB Blake Bortles. They are 0-2 now without him so who are they going to blame now?

Also heard supposed "saint" Giants RB S Barkley got into it with his HC this past weekend as well. The natives are getting restless? More like babies crying.

Lately the media often takes the sides of the maladjusted black players. Players couldn't pull this crap back in the 1970's or even the 80's but now it is open season for the malcontent ass wipes who think the world revolves only around them. They should take a lesson from Mike Trout who has more talent in his one finger than these good but overrated black DBs. He stuck with his losing team and community in the hope that someday things will turn around. Willing to work through the hard times. It is the difference between a man and a child.

These outbursts which often forces the hands of teams should ring a bell. It has now become sort of a staple in the black driven NBA and now we are seeing it's ugly head pop up in the NFL with greater frequency.

But the black locker room syndrome bothers me to no end. Without going over a subject that has been covered here at length over the years, a lot of it comes down to the apprentice way blacks are "taught" when it comes to sports. And to me there is often a strong distaste for white people and it creates a great "black supremacy" motivating tool. The by product of this unfortunate long standing trend is it opens the door for blacks to "dog" it if whites on their team start to become stars. This is especially applicable to caste positions. RB is a prime example. I always fear blacks will sabotage a white player's chance to succeed. Makes for a very uncomfortable setting.

We talk about CM a lot here but I do wonder if the presence of Cam Newton helps his black teammates "accept" a star white RB? Newton because he is black my create a shield of sorts. And I know he is unpopular here but I will give Cam credit for not shunning his white skill stars. Sadly I can't say the same thing about Titans QB Mariota and his early relationship with WR Adam Humphreys which is non existent to date.

So if the Saints decide to start dynamic Taysom Hill at QB ( it is currently up in the air) will the blacks on the Saints fall in line or will they try just a little less harder than usual? Hill is an athlete who butts up against the notion of black supremacy. This is the conundrum that often keeps me up at night. By the way based on the preseason Hill deserves to start. I am not antagonistic against Teddy Bridgewater and I think in most cases he would make a fine back up QB. Since the Saints have Hill they should go with him. And hopefully the team follows suit.

Colts released Chad Kelly - this team went from one of the most white friendly teams during the Polian/Manning era to one of the absolute blackest. Hopefully the ghost of Andrew Luck haunts this franchise for years to come.

Yeah Chad Kelly was clearly the most talented qb on the roster.

I agree or at least keep 3 qb's on the roster and don't dress Hoyer who IMO is on his last legs. Hoyer could be a good player coach in the film room.

This could come back to bite the Colts in the butt down the line.

The Ramsey/Fitzpatrick sagas are beyond pathetic but are too be expected. I feel there types of player demands/trades will hurt the NFL in the long run much as they hurt the NBA. The Dolphins now have a ton of draft capital but will not use it to change their locker room dynamics one bit. Ramsey has been a loud moufed malcontent since he entered the league - like a younger less outlandish version of Antonio Brown. I read the piece on Antonio Brown and he is absolute garbage but also the symbol of what is wrong with blacks in America - all due to the lack of the nuclear family or being raised correctly. He should be ashamed of that video and all of his antics but he is too far gone - it's not an ego thing - it's the fact he has no self-awareness and has turned into an all time a-hole. The Patriots have done nothing but pander to him - I look forward to the relationship disintegrating over time.

It seems the Colts aren't completely hopeless. They brought him back onto the PS in case Briskett gets hurt.

I am surprised Belichek has allowed this to go this far. He has dealt with the likes of Randy Moss and Aaron Hernandez in the lockeroom, but if he doesn't have a serious talk with AB no team is going to even want him next season.

Trent Taylor was placed on IR, so he's out for at least 8 more weeks if not the entire season. It's a shame given how well he was playing in preseason after being mentored by Wes Welker all offseason.

I nearly started choking on the tea I was drinking when I read the headline, back in the day when the sports card bubble was happening his Patriot card would have been a DWF hot commodity.....
