Why the heck are the Packers not putting Janis in the game. These receivers are big and slow. Is he hurt or something?

Good point.

The Packers are struggling offensively. Why not put in a speedy deep threat to liven things up?

JJ Watt was mentioned for his 2.5 sacks but did anyone notice he had 9 quarterback hits? It's rare to see a player get 5 and JJ nearly doubled that. He's simply the best.

The rest of Houston's defense played well too. Cushing was the leading tackler. Former practice squader Max Bullough was second in tackles. It would appear he's now starting at the other ILB position. If so, great news. Jared Crick had a bunch of tackles and a sack. John Simon had 7 total tackles, dwarfing the production of paper tiger CLOWNey.

If the Indianapolis Colts lose to the undefeated Panthers on Monday night, the Texans would be tied for 1st. JJ Watt needs to get a chance to show his talents in the playoffs.

Hopefully the Packers shake things up at wide receiver after nobody could get open against the Broncos. Unfortunately, they're stuck with Richard Rodgers fat, slow, no hands at tight end.

Let's face it, Mike McCarthy was pretty much brain dead last night. He kept splitting TE Rodgers out in what was essentially a four wide out set. The Broncos covered it well. Pathetic that not one time he could try Janis in a formation. Any one else notice, that it was TE Rodgers whiffed on a block that allowed the safety?

I hope Luck can pull out the win tonight against scam. Maybe the colts will let Werner actually play tonight instead of relying on the over the hill Mathis. I hope Henry Anderson keeps Up his great play as well. Scam needs to lose some games - he is getting way too much credit for the panthers start.

Horrible performance by Packers last night they were exposed big time. Zero pass rush, zero rushing game, lackadaisical coverage and receivers getting zero sepereation. Ugly! Adams is overrated he's done Jack **** to be annointed a starter. If Janis were given same opportunities his production would be off the charts!

According to the announcers McCarthy is no longer calling the plays. He gave the job to his offensive coordinator.

One of the current narratives of the mainstream media is how great Cam Newton is playing, how improved he is. I've seen one article that said he's having an MVP type season.

The idea that he's even close to an MVP season is nonsense. He has a 56% completion percentage and has 7 interceptions in 6 games. That's not on pace for an MVP season.

Yea, I read that in an article after I posted. Apparently he was criticised for some conservative play calling last year and made the decision in February sometime. I heard the announcers mentioning that the Packers offense is only ranked 22nd in the league. I thought the drop was likely due to Jordy Nelson not being on the field. But if the play calling has been unimaginative all year as it was last night, then that could be a factor.

The BSPN pregame show is totally nauseating with unwarranted hype for Scam and treating Andrew Luck as some sort of afterthought.

Scam Newton looks to get another unimpressive win in the rain at Carolina, Andrew Luck's deal with the devil has apparently run out as his impressive play before this year is a fading memory.

Vernon Davis gets traded from the wasteland of being a target for Colin Krapernick to the possible paradise of Peyton Manning's passing arm. Owen Daniels would ordinarily be shuttled to the bench permanently but Davis is so frequently injured that it's doubtful he will help the Broncos much. Daniels has been a disappointment this season, but so has Manning.

Both Manning and Daniels were drafted high at their positions in my fantasy league and both have been cut already.

What has happened to Luck? He just threw another INT, and he looks horrible. The body language and performance. Its gone. Speaking of gone, 49ers just benched Kapernick the rest of the season. The announcers say he (Luck) is hurt. I don't know. But maybe sitting out a couple games may get his head right or heal what ever injuries he may have. sCam just converted INT to TD. Panther rolling. Olsen having a great game. SMH

Luck gave that game away. He needs to learn to limit his turnovers. The defense again for the Panthers wins the game - not scam.

Luck must have the broken ribs there have been rumors about, or else he's inexplicably regressed. Considering he looked to be the next all-time great coming into the league, something's just not right currently.

At any rate, when Luck got it together in the fourth quarter and into overtime, who was he mainly throwing to? Coby Fleener and Griff Whalen. The far more heralded T. Y. Hilton and Donte Moncrief both had terrible games, while I don't think Whalen saw the field as a receiver until the Colts began their comeback. Keep the gritty overachiever on the bench until you absolutely need to make some plays and then he again shows how solid he is when he gets an opportunity.

I watched most of the fourth quarter and overtime. Luck is Luck, but he looks to be favoring something. He doesn't have the same crispness on his passes as we have been accustomed to. The last pass he threw was forced into coverage and I was at least happy that Keuchly was given most of the credit. Without him, the Carolina defense is very limited.

Give Newton some credit, when his first read is open, he does throw a nice ball, impressive even. And he's a very intimidating runner to most defenders. But comparisons to, well, any top-tier QBs like Brady, Manning (either one), etc. is just caste foolishness.

It's tough to root against the Panthers with Keuchly and Klein on D, and the uncoverable Greg Olsen on offense. Unfortunately, sCam gets all the credit, even with his 55% completion percentage and terrible TD to TO percentage.

By the way, is it me, or was Griff Whalen open every single time that he was on the field?? The last few snaps, he wasn't in the lineup and I knew that the Colts were screwed.

LMAO how far the toucan has fallen. Of course the coaching staff and team will be blamed. Same scenario with the Gremlin. We know this wont be the last we hear from the toucan as dat upside will be some dumb teams talking point in the offseason.

Luck is definitely injured and limited in some capacity. His accuracy was off most of the game. I have to agree with Don about Whalen. He was running the short to intermediate stuff and providing a reliable target for Luck. If they were smart which they aren't they would go ahead and keep Whalen in their as the slot wr.

Newton is nothing special - he does not command or run an offense effeciently. The Panthers defense is very good - good pass rush, very good lb play and that CB Norman is probably the best CB in the league right now. Newton is being a game manager even though that term never applies to a black black quarterback. Without the great play of that defense they would not be where they are.

I guarantee the media is going to be talking up toucan and the gremlin to go to the Eagles.

Agreed Leonardfan, The media will push one or both to Philly as the perfect fit to CKs offense. Even though a pocket qb like Foles overachieved in his offense it will still become the narrative to get a qoutaback to run his struggling offense.

I read some of the fan comments on a site regarding the benching. There were numerous posts projecting Kapernick to the Eagles.

Presumably the Eagles need to "upgrade" with a bad quarterback.
