Toby Gerhart should be the main running back for hapless Jacksonville in an otherwise forgettable nationally televised game against hapless Tennessee. Toby needs to have a strong game.

Jacksonville coach is a complete idiot Ten. one of the worst run defenses in the league and until late surge by Toby near end of the half most of the plays have been passing. The jacksonville coach is clueless,

Gerhart with 8 rushes for 40 yards and a nice short TD run, with most of the second half left to play. He also had a reception for about 13 yards in the first half.

Gerhart for the TD...Nice spin move! Toby looks fully healthy now...running powerful & would have a 100 yard game if he were to get enough carries!

Was that a white FB blocking for Gerhart? Three white guys in a NFL backfield? Isn't that a hate crime?

Geez. Gerhart out with a rib contusion. Not able to take advantage of opportunities this year.

He's back in. Good for him, now he needs some carries, especially with the fullback lead. But, they throw and go 3 and out...

Forget Gerhart now. Todman with a long TD run. One big run by a black is enough to move them to the front of the depth chart.

I guess that John Madden curse is still on Toby. He is having a good productive game with a TD. Then some RB named Toddman, rips off a 62 yard TD. Reminds me of Brian Leonard having a good game for TB a couple of years ago, then some black RB rips off a long one. After that Leonard ceased being the starting RB and now is out of the league 2 games ago.:icon_evil:

Toby back in still running hard and picks up a 1st down on 2 carries. Based on the ingrained caste system, Toby will be regulated to 3rd down status. :eek:hwell:

Toby really needs to start hitting some long runs. He has had enough carries now that he should have at least one run of 30 yards or more. I think every jacksonville running back had a higher long run for the season more then Toby including storm johnson.

Gerhart's Longest run this season was 23 yards...Storm Johnson 20 yards...until tonight Todman's only 10

Todman is just a third down/backup RB, he's no threat to become the starter. Gerhart isn't going to be breaking 60 yard runs, that's not what power backs do; he ran well in this game but his tendency to get nicked up time and again certainly hasn't helped his cause. Gerhart's competition is the injured Denard Robinson and the rookie Storm Johnson. But it's all a moot point now until next season.

Toby played good tonight. Hes clearly a capable NFL back. I sure wish he wouldnt have had to ride the bench in Minnesota all those years. He could have some nice solid stats by now. I sure hope he continues to get carries in the future.

Gerhart spent his first four years as a backup. Those are usually the best years a RB will have.

Well, I'm sure that Westside was simply mixing up Gerhart with Peyton Hillis. You know, all of those white running backs look the same, anyway!

With Anderson at the helm, the Panthers aren’t such a bad team to support. Olsen, Bersin, Kuechly, Klein, Colin Jones, etc. If they win-out and the Swarthy Saints drop one more game, they’ll be playoff bound.
Well that didn't last long. Coach Ron Rivera says that sCam Newton will be back behind center this week.

It was nice to watch Bortles and Gerhart last night. It's amazing what lack of talent both the Jaguars and Titans have overall. just a real pathetic collection of affletes on defense and the skill positions. It's a shame both Mettenberger and locker are done with injuries. I hope Mettenberger becomes their starting qb, he displayed alot
of promise this season.

As for locker, it's just a shame he cannot stay healthy. He was one of my favorite young qbs, he has a ton of talent but was really raw coming out of college. I think he has a future in the league but it would be nice to see him go somewhere with an established qb to learn behind.
