Word on Dallas radio is that the Mavericks 26th pick (Jordan Hamilton) is going to the Blazers for Rudy Fernandez & a Finnish PG that the Blazers own the rights to, so it looks like the Mavericks continue to stockpile more white players on their team.

Hansbrough is not drafted. I don't know what to say. I thought he was talented enough to go early 2nd round. I quit putting him in lists of potential undrafted free agents since I thought teams would be smart enough to get him.

This is ridiculous. He would of fit in perfectly as a back-up behind Fredette in Sacramento. Instead they took that kid from Washington who is like a dirt poor man's Kemba Walker.

There is some good news.. some overrated brothas didn't get drafted.. Alex Tyus (Florida), Mike Davis (Illinois), Scotty Hopson (Tennessee), Jeremy Green (Stanford), Carlton Scott (Notre Dame), Austin Freeman (Georgetown), Vucevic' (big) teammate at USC.

What is the deal with this negro or mullatto Adam Hanga from Hungary? I saw the name on NBAdraft.net and figured it must be a white player. Nope! http://www.nbadraft.net/players/adam-hanga In a country of almost 10 million whites the only NBA player they could muster up is a negro? Give me a break. I'm pretty sure this is the only player ever drafted out of Hungary.

I was watching when he was picked and I thought the same thing. The last few picks of the draft were a joke. A bunch of useless Africans who are so bad they might develop into average players after many, many years of tutelage. Even the espn guys were at a loss for words, including Fran Frashilla who was the "expert" on overseas guys. My guess would be that those teams picking simply did not want to shell out any cash for draft picks, but why not take some Euro guys who actually can ball?

Well, you have to see it from an NBA executive's point-of-view. A black European has an "unlimited upside" going for him, while any of the Euro crackers are simply treading water from a skill standpoint. Like most elites, NBA execs are fully immersed in the black athletic superiority myth, which views ANY black as having the potential to be Michael Jordan. To them (and most DWFs), all black players have unfathomable skills, potential, and upside. It just a matter of coaxing it out of them. Whites, in their minds, are genetically flawed, athletically. What I find to be sad and perplexing is that a great former player, like Jerry West, doesn't look at white players as having the potential to be the next Jerry West, he must feel that he is a great aberration.

Odd enough as it is, the influx of African picks at the end might be a good thing. Personally I think every white drafted will have a good career. Because of the flamboyant racism of the GMs, they're only choosing the really, really good whites as opposed to the moderately good blacks they choose. This means, that out of this draft, the Africans picked are more likely to fail then the whites picked.

Out of the whites chosen, I only think that Harrellson and Diebler will become role players. The rest will have careers has starters or sixth men.

the apathy or outright malice directed toward most every single White player would boggle the mind, were it not for the rock-solid precedent established and entrenched by the Caste System. one wonders how every single White player is considered by the so-called "experts" a supporting role player at best.

take, for example, this pick-by-pick "analysis' by the "experts" at Fox Sports. other than raving about Jan Vesely's athletic ability, i can't find a single (non-backhanded) compliment about a White player's talent. furthermore, Whitey can only get the most grudging of acknowledgments even when it comes to his skill level. it's as if his lack of melanin absolutely prevents him from successfully assisting an orange spherego through a red (or sometimes orange) circle.

"weird," huh? additionally, i've always wondered ... how does the ball know it's a White "boy?"

Not many NBA execs and "experts" believe Jimmer will be any good, so maybe it's a good thing for him going into his rookie year with a low profile. If I counted right it was 16 whites drafted, Right about 27% (as WA33 said a little better than average). The biggest snub of the draft was Ben Hansbrough- who probably would have gone around the time Nolan Smith went or the top of the 2nd at latest- if black. Matt Howard would have been a great mid 2nd round pick for some team, (Brian Cardinal- with more athletic upside maybe?) but alas he went undrafted.

Last year Chris Kramer (ELITE athlete, defensive specialist along the lines of Raja Bell, but as a solid and consistent role player "PG" instead) and Jon Scheyer (Production, Production, clutch performer, nice shot, solid passer/ballhandler and NCAA champ) were the snubs I remember. The previous year it was Lee Cummard (athletic swingman with a nice stroke and leaping ability) and Ben Woodside (similar to J.J Barea). Notice a trent here? 5 out of the 6 are white guards!
