Take a look at these fight results:
2005-10-18 Saint Nazaire, France
# Jean Louis Mandengue lost to Sofiane Sebihi TKO9/10
# Achille Omang Boya lost to Abdelkader Benzinia TKO4/6
# Badre Belhadja beat Malik Hadjadj TKO1/6

2005-10-18 Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan
# Yoshinori Nishizawa lost to Peter Mitrevski Jnr TD10/12
# Motokazu Abe beat Wayu Windygym TKO3/10
# Tomohito Kimura beat Shoot Mifune TKO4/8
# Kohei Murota beat Yoshiaki Okuyama TKO2/4
# Kazuhiro Koike lost to Hiroki Kamaue UD4/4
# Yuichi Ideta beat Tadafumi...

I just thought it interesting that, in France, there is nary a "Frenchman" on the card, whereas in Japan, 10 of 12 of the fighters are Japanese. In France, it looks like there are more Africans and Arabs fighting than Frenchmen. But then again, there are more Africans and Arabs in France than there ARE Frenchmen, so this makes sense.

Even something as superficial as a fight card can tell us something about a nation's immigration policies.
