I don't think these people really understand what the
term, "overrated" actually means. It has to do with
perception versus reality. Harrington isn't that highly
regarded (as far as I know,) so how could he be that
overrated? Vick is considered by many to be the
best thing in the NFL; if he cannot live up to that, he
has to be more overrated.

There is no competition in this category; Mike/Michael Vick is in a
class of his own when it comes to being overrated. Did any of you see
the way Theismann and McGuire acted after Vick's very ordinary 10 yard
TD scramble late in last Sunday night's game? They showed the clip of
him diving into the end zone about a million times, in various degrees
of slow motion and generally acted as if this was an unprecedented
feat. Yeah, no QB in NFL history has run through a wide-open hole in
the middle of the field for 10 yards and then dove into the end zone
for a TD. Never been done. Only Vick could do it. But wait, didn't he
"defy gravity" when he dove? Didn't he prove he was "superman" when he
kept his knees from hitting the ground as he dove? Again, this stuff is
so sickening, and what's worse are the idiotic fans who swallow this
propaganda. In reality, Vick's run was no different than at least a
half dozen from Jeff Garcia over the years, and not nearly as
impressive as countless runs by the great Steve Young. I don't know why
the media is pushing Vick so much, because they do have a great black
QB out there in Daunte Culpepper, but they pretty much ignore his far
greater accomplishments on the field.

Vick is considered cool and the brothers are down wit him. That is all that is needed for the black-loving media talking heads to constantly gush over him.

Everything the Mighty Vick does is allegedly uprecedented. In all actuality,we have seen this before with Randall Cunningham, who was the Mighty Vick of the late 80's early 90's and the media was going crazy back then too. When it came down to the playoffs Randall bombed.Hardcore Iggles fans to this day hate the guy.I just hope they don't put him into the hall of fame.IF you want to talk unprecedented you can go back even farther than that to Fran Tarkengton who was an incredible escape artist and he was white.

Urlacher is a great player period. One of the best athletes in the NFL--top five at least-it is ridiculous to place him on such a list. Injured for most of the year when he did play he was dominating. And proof is in the pudding. The Bears cannot win without him.
