It's mostly the PAC-12, Big 10 and ACC that are guilty of this.

Big 10:

Illinois will likely defeat Indiana to remain undefeated.
Michigan will likely defeat Northwestern to remain undefeated.

Nebraska's entrance into the conference is looking like a good thing now.. because maybe they can provide more competition. They are a team that might get darker though.

ACC:

Is anyone going to know how to contain G-Tech? Sure, ACC teams' are going to do some beating up on each other, but G-Tech is flying high and will play Maryland this week. In the "AA" ACC, they are looking really dangerous.

PAC-12:

Pretty much only Oregon and Stanford are contenders. USCs "D" is ATROCIOUS. Arizona State still has question marks, and they aren't exactly White-friendly.

**USC isn't White-friendly either, but their "D" sucks so bad that even one of the college football shows mentioned it recently...

We just know that many many games will be absolute mess-fests and will favor the "media's team." How can you get "up" for these games? Under these circumstances, I can't hate Wisconsin. Under these circumstances, I can't say that the SEC is the most disgusting conference. While it's too black, teams' are actually being "exposed".. on a weekly basis. The Pac-12 is also too black. The Big 10 is black quarterback city.

I can't hate LSU for being one of the few teams that knows how to expose Oregon. I can't hate Alabama's excellent coaching and pro-style defense. In the SEC, Morgan Newton and Chris Relf have been exposed.. Larry Smith won't cut it for Vandy.. Ole Miss is a mess.

I still remember ESPN showing multiple HS games of Morgan Newton.. nonetheless, being from an Indiana HS, if he chose the Big 10, what are the odds that he would look "much better?" Another question, what if Denard was in the SEC? Perhaps I answered my own questions. Much more "freebies" on the Big 10 schedule.

Its time for Drunkblackfan's football pick of the week. Michigan 42 - Northwestern 13. I'm 2 for 2 and will stop only when I lose.

Is Persa health? If so they can give Michigan fits, I'm not convinced their defense is that good. I would expect a shoot out if Persa is healthy.

Cal made LaMichael James look like a "God"... this is exactly what I'm talking about. Mark May predictably went into his "gloating."

He's not only a shorter, skinny back.. but he doesn't look like a "burner" to me - either.

The Big 10 is stunningly weak. I watched North Texas -- a bad Sun Belt Conference team -- work IU over in the first half, play even with them in the third quarter and finally hang on to beat them. Only Wisconsin is a really serious team the rest are pork chops.

Pac 12 isn't real good either and their attendance figures demonstrate a level of fan apathy.

As an old Veer fullback who also played DE against Wishbone teams, I love Georgia Tech's option attack (AFA's as well).

One more prediction for tonight. Boise State will not cover the 21 points tonight against Fresno State. This game is going to be a lot closer than most people think. At least we can root for Devon Wylie and Boise's 6 wide receivers though Hiwat is back tonight and this summer Boise's coach stated " now, HE, looks like a football player." Yeesh.

Something tells me that Boise is going to cover the 21 point spread. If Persa is 100 percent then tomorrow will be a close game. Bold prediction Northwestern 40 Michigan 35.

but yeah, I agree with the original post, plenty of pathetic teams.

Crud. I had no idea Boise State's D. was that good. At least they are majority white and have a bunch of reserve white defensive backs coming along.

Close again!

As expected, Illinois and Michigan remain undefeated. The G-Tech game was interesting in that Maryland kept it close. Caste-God - "Tevin Washington" - appears to be nothing-special at all, and that's another reason why I brought up G-Tech and their undefeated season.

Good job drunkblackfan. You at least covered and got the first number right. Yet I lossed on Boise State so no more predictions. I had no idea Fresno would have such a weak offense.

On the other good news front Air Force had a good day from rb/fb Mike Dewitt and they have a young wr in Ty McArthur who is also a great kick returner. Notre Dame's Cam McDaniel had 2 carries for 14 yards including a 12 yarder. Awesome.

It was good to see McDaniel get some carries!
