Matt Jones as a tight end is retarded. He doesn't have the personality to do the banging a TE has to do. The NFL knows this already. If there was ever a guy not suited to be a TE it's Matt Jones. Any talk of him being a TE is just a recipe for him to fail.

I went on Youtube to view Matt's highlights. Man, I forgot what an awsome athelet he was. I also viewed three of his court videos. The first two he looked bad, like a person who had a narcotics problem. The 3rd, night and day. He looked great and read to move in a positive direction. I hope he realizes that this is his last chance at NFL glory.
I will look forward in following Matt's career with the Bengals in 2010.

On a side note, I have always rooted for whites since I was a child. Later in life when some DWF or friend observed this he said I was racists. I tried to explain it from my point of view. Some got it some didn't and continued their misguided ways of being DWF or emasculated white.

When I found this site I felt finally some proud whites think like I do and never swallowed the BS the MSM attempts to jam down our throats. I look forward everyday to view what posters think, share, uncover or observe regarding mistreatment of white athelets and whites in general. I have learned a great deal of the plot of a certain tribe and its white interloopers to disparge and marginalize white greatness.

I would like to thank all posters here on their research, humor, scholar and reasoning as well as Don Wassall's vision and committment to this site and movement. There are several posters who I would like to point out who have taught me alot, DWID, Dixie, ToughJR, Jack Lambert, 44, White Athelet 33, Parody, Thrashen, Jimmy C, Guest301,Lost, Football Dad, Sports Historian, Johnnyboy, Maple Leaf(what happened to him?),KP, White Is Right, Peanutlane, White lighting, Tom Iron and others who I can't recall at this moment. Even ex posters such Nevada, Werewolf or Kukulkan who offered some insightful and funny posts of the past.

By the way Goodell is a sober DWF,but DWF nevertheless, and with that, I lay down my 1000th post!

Congratulations on your 1000th post, Westside. You have contributed alot to this site and I look forward to your future posts.

Let's just hope that Matt Jones has finally got his head on straight and will take on any obstacles that he encounters. He truly controls his own destiny at this point because we know he obviously has the tools. Let's see if he makes the most of it and becomes a legend.

Congrats on your 1000th post milestone partner.

***This idea about Matt at TE sounds like another caste diversion. No way should a stud with that athletic talent not be at WR!

There was talk about him being a tight end when he was drafted. Some mocks had him listed as a tight end which is ridiculous. Now they are starting this nonsense again. He showed his potential at wide receiver and would have went over 1,000 yards in 2008 if not for his suspension. Also let's not forget how many times BlackJack Delrio screwed him throughout his career.

he's 220 atm, he's not going to be a tight end, Bengals.com is disputing this wild claim.

He was 218 when the Bengals signed him. All he has to do is keep his weight around there and he'll never be used as a TE, especially because all White tight ends have to be good blockers.

Even at his weight during the 2005 draft(around 240lbs) he was a bit too light to play tight end like many wanted him to. It would have been much easier for him then to put on 10-15 pounds for the position. Now he would have to put on about 30lbs which is ridiculous. With a quarterback like Palmer he could have an even better season than he had in 2008.

Germantown is still a pretty nice part of the city, at least most parts of it. Two elite Quaker private schools are around there, and some of the neighborhoods are really old, and have a ton of Colonial-era houses and buildings.

From reading the Bengals fan forums it seems only a handful of Bengal fans actually see Jones as having an impact on the team. They all want Terrell Owens because Chad the Retard has been begging the team to sign him. They see Jones as anything from not making the team to playing in the slot (he's white so he must be interchangeable with Wes Welker). Of course Cincy is a bit of an insular place and in my opinion has extremely ill-informed football fans so I know these same fans will be shocked by the amount of balls Owens drops and will start bad mouthing him which will create a circus. And rumor is that Chad Johnson is why the team let T.J. Houshmanzadeh go; so how will Owens fit in with Chad's ego? I think most of the fans think an uncapped year means buy a fantasy football team, only in real life, and win the Super Bowl.

On the bright side the Matt Jones to TE threads have spawned several parody threads such as Andre Smith to WR and Jerome Simpson to TE with other posters demanding that Jones to TE thread be locked so at least only a handful of idiots still see Jones as a TE.

Terrell Owens is done. He's 36 now and his numbers have gone down. I always thought he was overrated anyway. Jones is 10 years younger and a better athlete than Owens. The DWF's truly are drunk.

As always, they think they're being hip by parroting the cues they get from the media. First a year and a half of Jones always being lumped in when the worst criminals in the league are mentioned (and four years of being called a bust). Then he finally signs with a team after being out of the league for an entire season and what quickly gets circulated? First, "anonymous sources" on the team that signed him supposedly saying that he had the worst workout ever, then more stories that he's going to be converted to tight end.

Matt was training at some point last year ata high-priced facility. Don't know if he still is, but if I were him I would do nothing but train extremely hard, six days a week. Get in the absolute best shape possible, and then shine on the field in whatever opportunities he's given, if any. That's the only chance he has, and even that's aslim one.

Well Matt Jones probably won't play much for the Bengals this year. The signing of Antonio Bryant likely just moved Jones from a chance at the two spot down to fourth on the depth chart. The fans will riot if the team starts anything other than Chad, Bryant, and Caldwell and a bunch of those retards are still clamoring for Terrell Owens. I doubt the Bengals release him though; he isn't making much so it is safer to just bury him on the depth chart than let him get a chance elsewhere. At this point I would say his NFL career is over. No one wanted him after his best season so I don't see him getting another job after being a number four on a team that only uses three WRs. Sure he could outplay every WR on the Bengal's roster, but we all know he won't get the chance.

I can see Jones beating out Caldwell for the slot job. Caldwell only managed 432 yards last season -- on 51 catches for a pathetic 8.5 yard per catch average -- and just 3 TDs. Not saying it's gonna happen, butJones' height and speed advantage over Caldwell is huge, as is his red zone potential. Let's hope Carson Palmer favors him right away in pre-season games.

Also, Bryant battled a knee problem all last season and he has a higher probability of encountering injury problems than most receivers. And he's one of the biggest head cases in a league full of them.

I agree the Bryant signing doesn't look good for Matt, but hopefully he'll report in the best shape of his life and take advantage of any opportunities that may open as the season progresses.

I hope you are right. Personally I think Bryant sucks as he has only had one really good season in a nine year career, but he will get every chance and is probably guaranteed to start. Jones should beat out Caldwell, but everyone seems high on Caldwell in the slot (why, I have no clue). Also indications are that the team is looking to draft a WR, possibly early. My guess is that it won't be Shipley or Cooper. Maybe I'm just too pessimistic right now. The idiotic fans are getting to me I think.

I'm cynically hopeful that the Bengals will put Bryant in the slot. I don't think Jones is as suited for the slot role as he is flanker. Bryant is versatile enough to play slot and flanker. Let's just hope for the best!
