Senior WR Luke Swan averaged 17 yards per reception last season, but is of course stereotyped continuously by the media in a racist way. Draft Daddy sums it up well below. I heard it several times myself during broadcasts of Wisconsin games last year.

Swan had 35/595/5 last season. He will also be returning punts for the Badgers this season. From Draft Daddy:

Swan is widely regarded by members of the media as an overachieving, former walk-on with limited athletic ability and great hands. But the reality is he was a big time playmaker for Badgers in 2006 (averaged 17 ypc) and he is athletic enough to have broken current N.F.L. star Lee Evans' school record for the fastest time ever in the pro-agility drill. So he has great sideline to sideline quickness (ala Wayne Chrebet) and, at the very least, he is a prospect to keep a close eye on as a senior.

God I love these guys at draftdaddy. They are just so fair and objective but now on to Swan. I watched some Badgers games last year and the announcers always loved ripping on him calling him deceptively fast and all that other b.s. I look for luke to have a great season this year being a Sr and in his 2nd year starting.

i had the privilege of watching Luke play a handful of times last season, including in Wisconsin's bowl game against my alma mater, the University of Arkansas.

Luke was matched up nearly the whole game against cornerback, andfirst round NFL draft pick, Chris Houston. even though Luke didn't put up dominating stats in the game, he was open like a Wal-Mart Supercenter. all the damn time!

he is VERY good, regardless of how fast he can run in a straight line with no pads on.

Swan is out for the rest of the season with a torn hamstring and is scheduled for surgery.

Whatever slim chance he had of being drafted looks to be gone.

Luke Swan was featured last night as a WR on Michael Irvins reality show on Spike called 4th and long. If he survives to the last cut and wins the show he will earn a spot on the Cowboys 80 man roster going into training camp. I saw some of the highlights of future shows and it looked to me like Swan made a great catch and high hurdled over a db and that drew alot of oohs and aws.

Nice story, but he doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of making the regular season roster. The Cowboys have shown no interest in Matt Jones, who would be a great fit. Danny Amendola was put on the practice squad last year and will most likely never play for them.

Richmond Flowers Jr., the son of the world class sprinter, who was tall and fast, never was given a chance by the Cowboys. When he was cut, as shown on HBO's training camp show a few years ago, his father knowingly told him over the phone, "Who makes it and who doesn't is decided before training camp opens. It's political." Jason Witten is as close to a white receiver as the Cowboys will get under Jerry Jones.

I can't argue with any of that, there is no excuse for Matt Jones not to have a current job in the NFL. I guess I am hoping that someone like Luke Swan who had a very nice career at Wisconsin somehow wins this whole thing and gains some popularity because of it and hopefully gets his fair shot at making the team. There certainly will be alot of publicity and attention given to anybody that wins this reality show. If Swan does win this thing and makes the team, my prediction is the Cowboys will tell him to put on 20lbs and make a third TE out of him. That would be the usual Caste way of doing things.
By the way, another white wr the Cowboys screwed over was Patrick Jeffers who when healthy put up some nice numbers for the Cowboys and should have been at least a #2 WR in the NFL for a decade.

Swan is only 6'0 190 lbs. Adding Thirty pounds to his body type looks impossible. Idk ill hold hope that Sawn can win the show. But that is just one test. I want him on the Cowboys roster. I won't get my hopes to high, but ill stay somewhat optimistic.

White guy Stephen Andrews was the first to go on the show. TO be honest i think he was deserving to be cut. He didnt seem to have the heart. I could think of way more qualified white guys instead him, cmon the college of New JErsey?? Swan looked in tip top shape. He looks to be one of the leaders as of now. Top 4 i would say.

Swan is definitely top four. The white guy that was cut ran a 4.66 forty after running about 14 110 yard sprints and that was one of the fastest times recorded at the show. He didn't perform all that well in the one play that was shown over and over again of him getting run over by a WR.

Well two weeks in a row, two whites gone from 4th and long. Michael Irvin is infatuated with Montrell lazy pot smoker Jones. Swan is still in the game but how long with this agenda last??

Andrews definitely wasnt going very far in that show, bad attitude. But the guy who injured himself the first show i think should have been cut, at least andrews was in shape and had one of the better 40's.

Theres no way theyll let a white guy win this contest. If swan does win irvin will be called racist.

Swan pulled a groin in yesterdays scrimmage showed on Spike. He survived the cut though and he wasted all the other black athletes when they were forced to run all the stairways at the Cotton Bowl. Swan finished far ahead of all the other guys and Irvin gave him praise for it while one black athlete in a camera interview said Swan was hot dogging it. Just more proof that whites have more stamina and endurance.

He pulled a groin, Riggins. I think he will be ok because I remember seeing him make a very nice leaping catch over a black CB of a bomb thrown his way when they were showing some previews of the entire season of this show at the beginning. So I am guessing that he will stick around for awile because I have not seen that catch yet.

I hope he continues to impress. I don't get Spike so I don't watch the show. Hopefully Luke will heal up quick and make it impossible for himself to be cut without Irving looking like the anti-white joke that he is.

Swan definitely has some stellar stamina. When they had to run the 11 100 yard sprints he made the comment that he "couldnt't believe so many people were outta shape, this is a tryout for the Cowboys"

What's interesting is the show is using Nate "the Kitchen" Newton to gather up the three guys who are in danger of being cut at the end of the show. Nate is larger than ever and walks with a noticeable gimp, his football career and bad eating habits have obviously taken it's toil on his body.

let's see ... the decision making for the first two episodes went like this:
in Episode 1, the three cutdown players were:
Player A) a short, black pussy who can run but who injured himself and couldn't finish the drills.
Player B) a short, white pussy who can run but who had a bad attitude but is taller AND faster than Player A.
Player C) a lazy, fat ass, black pot smoker who can't run a lick and is completely out of shape, unless you consider round a shape.

who got cut? Player B.

in Episode 2, the three cutdown players were:
Player A) a short black pussy who can run but can't hold onto the ball and doesn't like to get hit (the same Player A from Week 1).
Player B) a lanky, tall, long-armed, white project who didn't play college football but who can run, has good hands, and is tough.
Player C) a lazy, fat ass, black pot smoker who can't run a lick and is completely out of shape, unless you consider round a shape. (the same Player C from Week 1).

who got cut? Player B. the guy with the most upside of anyone in the show was cut because, "he didn't play physical enough." wow.

so, in two episodes, two ofthe only three white players in camp were cut in favor of two negroes who obviously aren't worth a damn. but NFL evaluations are color blind. riiiiight ...

i've no problems withthe white defensive backbeing cut because he was a whiney cry baby, but the white wide receiver had aLOT of tools and just needs to develop them. if you cut a guy like thatafter he shows you something, you're obviously not looking for the guy with the most potential to help your team.

this. show. is. caste. system. 101.

Luke Swan got cut from the show this week due to the groin injury. Michael Irvin didn't seemingly want to do that from the positive things he had to say about Swan like "he had good hands and worked hard" but he cut him anyway. Darn it, I really thought he would last longer.
