They tried to make it no big deal but I have never seen an on ice proposal at a hockey game so obviously they are pushing the agenda. The fans cheered apparently, I'm sure if they didn't the Canadian Ministry of Approved Thought would have arrested them, and there were no negative comments posted after the article.

White people are so screwed up. I guess it's obvious that we have lost this battle and it's time to move on.....

Jaxvid, good call on the cultmarx totalitarian mindset up in Cannuckada. :canada::lipsrsealed: It's a travesty against all that's wholesome and good to see such vile behavior lionized as such. :frown:

Total madness but PC behaviour even have obvious conservatives like Don Cherry biting his tongue. If I was the cameraman forced to cover that Springer fare I would have panned away out of protest.....

Speaking of Cherry, I wonder what Leafs' GM Brian Burke (Donnie's new rival?) thinks about this kiss? When he was a young GM with the Hartford Whalers, he tried to come off as "Mr.Macho", constantly promoting fighting and talking about hockey being a "mans game". He also used to try to portray himself as "Mr. conservative" and "Mr. Family values". I remember how he used to brag about how proud he was to have a strong Irish-American wife from Boston to raise his sons. Obviously, Brian's Irish and was showing ethnic pride (which is good), regarding his selection of a wife. At least that's how I saw it at the time?

Several years later, I see Brian dumped his Irish wife in favor of some much younger Asian TV newscaster from Vancouver and he became a big promoter of gay rights, when it turned out his son was gay. Because of the whole Burke angle, I was hoping the kiss happened in Toronto.

P.S: Just a few years ago the Washington Mystics (WNBA) owner -- a black woman -- caused a huge firestorm when she closed down the "Kiss Cam" at whatever arena they played at after a couple Lesbo's where caught kissing. Obviously, that league is full of lesbian players and has tons of gay and lesbian fans.

Hockey has a very macho culture there is no way that homosexuality is promoted by anybody but upper management who have their heads in the clouds. I recall many instances where players have taunted other players with gay slurs. In Toronto for years Wendel Clark was taunted by other fighters and junk yard dog types by being called Wendy. I also recall Stephane Richer being slurred because of homosexual rumours that haunted him while he played for the Canadiens.

Don't forget the sports media. They are almost 100% leftist. They use their positions to ridicule traditionalists day in, day out, thus making the latter lookas as unhip as possible.
