Junior Stats:
949 for 11 TDs.
Kurt plays for Carmel HS in Indiana, the reigning 5A (largest class) champs. As you would want to see with any big back, it often takes more than one man to bring him down. He brushes off arm tackles and DBs like its nothing. Has good hands coming out of the backfield and can make guys miss after the catch. Many times, you can see him running away from defenders and provides a home threat on all downs. He has very good speed and it seems has the possibility of becoming a feature back at the next level if given a good opportunity.
Ball St. offered him very early and that is his top choice as of right now but more attention keeps coming his way. Eastern Michigan offered recently, and he is getting in school visits and invites to camps from schools like Purdue, Iowa, Indiana, Kentucky, and Central Michigan. It seems like with the amount of interest Ball St. has given him, they would want him for more than a blocker or a 3rd down specialist back. I'll be sure tracking him his senior season to see what he can produce, as it may lead to more offers from the schools above that are looking hard at him.
