Klitschko destroys Byrd!

Wladimir Klitschko (45-3, 40 KOs) won the IBF heavyweight title with a seventh round KO of Chris Byrd (39-2-1, 20 KOs) at the SAP Arena in Mannheim, Germany. It was a battle of jabs in round one with neither fighter doing any damage. Klitschko connected with a hard right in round two. Klitschko won round three fairly handily, landing numerous left-right combinations as Byrd face began to show signs of swelling. Another one-sided round for Klitschko in round four. Klitscho floored Byrd in round five with a right hand, then pummeled him for the rest of the round. Byrd showed great toughness in weathering the attack. Byrd took more punishment in round six and Klitschko continued his dominance. Klitscho floored Byrd again with a series of rights and lefts in the seventh and when Byrd regained his feet, referee Kelly stopped it :41 into the round. Byrd was bloodied and beaten at the end.



I just want to say holy sh*t.Wladimir Klitschko just absolutely destroyed Byrd.Byrd was dropped 2 times.His face was a bloody mess.It looked like the inside of byrds left eye was severly damaged.I have never and I mean never seen byrd destroyed like this.Wlad looked awesome.

There were trolls writing nonsense like Byrd won every round 'cept those in which he was knocked down; that Russians and Ukrainians are half-black, which is why they are such good fighters; a guy claiming to be a white American complaining about how bad the HW division must be, with so many white champions, etc.

A lot of people really just can't stand the fact that white men are winning in boxing, especially in the heavyweight division.

Wlad killed him.Byrd was damn lucky that they stopped the fight when they did.His health depended on it.I love how Wlad came forward the whold fight.Byrd was fighting scared from round 1 and he tried to cover his face the whole fight.Wlad is so strong that he literally punched through the gloves and nearly took his head off.Wlad is now 46-3 with 41 KNOCKOUTS!!!!!!Way to go Klitschko!!!!!

Wlad is far & away the best heavyweight champion in the world.He is now a 2 time champion and he will will probably dominate boxing for the next 4-5 years.I could not be any happier than I am right now.I have never felt so much pride.With Klitschko doing it in the ring,and Wariner dominating on the track.We are disproving alot of myths that I have heard for my whole life.I love it.My hats off to Wladimir Klitschko!What a perfomance.

Klitschkos jab was awesome and his overhand right looked as good as I have ever seen. The man has devastating power, excellent hand speed and seems to have learned how to settle down and pace himself. Wlads jab literally stopped Byrd in his tracks every time he threw it. It was an outstanding display of boxing prowess. On the flip side, what is it with these white skank mudsharks who have to yell and scream instructions at their negro jockers through the entire bout. These classless bitches probably ruin the fight for many of the people unfortunate enough to be seated around them.
