I was just about to post the link to this story myself. What an incredible indictment of the Caste System. I'm still waiting for the first high profile black college basketball star who is ignored by all NBA teams and ends up in a trailer park, with a low paying job, just a few years later.
Anybody who watches NBA games knows that the level of play is hardly "too high" for all these great white college basketball players. On the contrary, it's pathetically low and frankly embarrassing most of the time.
Quick comparison; I noticed that Davidson's highly touted half-black guard Stephan Curry shot 3-16 from 3 pt. range in yesterday's game. Wow. Remember, his strength, like J.J. Reddick and so many other white players who didn't have the advantage of a white parent, is shooting. I'm also waiting for the first white player, at any level, to be permitted 16 3 pt. shots in a game. Just imagine the furor on the bench, and in the stands, if a white player missed 13 of those 3 pt. shots. What a double standard.
