I liked him at Rice, big fast wideout. Reminded my somewhat of Jeff "the shark" Samardzja of Notre Dame back in the day due to his effortlessness and fluidity.

It's a real shame the way Jordan has been underused to this point, with little to indicate it's going to change. He's a classic Caste System victim, going through a prolonged racial apprenticeship that may not end, reminiscent of Jeff Janis in Green Bay, who also has great size, speed and athleticism but is close to disappearing from the league.

May this be the year he breaks out of his racial apprenticeship!

Good news for Taylor as 3rd round rookie draft pick Carlos Henderson was placed on season ending IR. Big time bust Cody Latimer and the legendary Bennie Fowler are still listed ahead of him on Our Lads' Denver depth chart, but Jordan should have a good shot at being the third receiver at some point this season.

Denver selected Henderson in the 3rd round and he had a poor training camp before ending up on IR; San Francisco picked his teammate Trent Taylor in the 5th round and it looks like he's going to be the 49ers' starting slot receiver as a rookie. Nice going John Lynch!
