Can you believe this? Last year Jayson Williams was convicted of serious charges related to an incident at his estate but was inexplicably acquitted by a hero-worshipping jury of the most serious charge of involuntary manslaughter. Williams is being tried again on the manslaughter charge. By all accounts there is little doubt that Williams shot and killed a white chauffer at his mansion and then tried to cover up the crime.

Yet this creep is allowed to still play basketball for the Idaho Stampede of the CBA pending trial? What's even sicker is that his initial appearance on the court drew "a polite cheer" from the crowd. Mike Vanderjagt would undoubtedly be booed out of the building but Jayson Williams is cheered. "Everybody needs a second chance," one season ticket holder is quoted as saying. Sick, sick, sick.
