I saw maybe one A&M game last year and he really stood out. Seems there wasn't a play he wasn't involved in.

he is by far the best defensive player on the a&m team for a long time. He is a good cover guy and one of the best tacklers. He reminds me of adam archuleta he does everything mainly because he has to.

He looks to be in the running for the DB of the year award, sorry I forgot the actual name of it. I hope he has a great year.

This guy is an absolute stud. He is bascially a pre-season all-american on everyone's teams as every premagazine I've looked at has him in there. He has a legitimate shot to win the Jim Thorpe award(best DB). I should have brought this guy up earlier. Does anyone know the last white guy to win the Thopre Award?

Greg Myers won the Thorpe award in 1995 while at Colorado State. I think that he also lead the nation in kickoff/punt return touchdowns that year. He was another guy screwed by the caste system. He bounced around the NFL a few years and is now out of football.

Appel was cut by the Titans. Already??? Gotta wonder if he has a health issue. Usually white players at "black positions" are kept around as sacrificial tackling dummies in training camp before being cut.
