I noticed that on the NBA allstar ballot, jason williams was't even on it, but his back up Gary Payton was on it. Jason is averagint 14.5 ppg, and 5 apg, much better numbers than Payton. He's having his best year of his career and he's been banged up and is getting no allstar consideration. Alot of people don't know this but he won a dunk contest his freshman year at Marshall.

Plus he thinks he's black. That makes his omission a double insult.

I recall watching this video of Jason mouthing off to some reporter in which he's saying "Homeboy" every three words. It was really odd to see this pale white guy saying it. But like robcat wrote, the poor guy must think he's black. He did go to the same high school as Randy Moss, after all.

I guess that's why they call him White Chocolate.

Which brings another question. Why is his nickname White Chocolate? For some reason, seeing a little ole white guy handle the rock so well renders him that stupid nickname.

The reason he's called white chocalate is becouse he acts black and used to play with a play ground style.Edited by: white lightning

Yeah I have read its because he reminds people of the way black people play in a white man's body.

I just find it irritating that white players who are skilled at handling the ball as JW are referred to as white chocolate. He's white damnn't. It reminds me of snoop dogg commentating about Larry Bird "You sure you don't any black in ya?" It's almost like if you're white, you're automatically supposed to suck.

Black people often say great white athletes have some black in them. They used to say that about me in high school. Its their way of denying that great white athlets exist. Its obvious that Larry Bird had a great great black grandfather that passed down all his genetic b-ball skills. The "balck style" of play is about showing off and the "white style" is a about hustle and fundementals. It's akin to the whole black style white substance bit. Like in the movie white men can't jump when Woody Harelson says a black guy would rather look good and loose than look bad and win. What is funny is two of the guys that brought showman ship to the n.b.a. were Bob Cousy and Pistol Pete. But all in all if you go to the local park you will see the sterotype stands true. I think showmman ship has a place in the game look a Larry Bird, he had alot of flair but it never got in the way of winning.
