A defender from UCONN, he ran the fastest 30 yard dash at the recent MLS combine at 3.87 seconds. He scored well on all the tests including a near 35 inch vertical leap. He was picked seventh by Vancouver. The only other white guy to make the top ten in the 30 yard dash was Ethan Kutler a forward at 3.92. Don't ask me to translate these numbers into the more conventional 40 yard dash because another ten yards changes a lot of the measuring sticks. Kutler also tied for first fastest in the agility test. I know all of this may seem insignificant but I can't help myself. Anytime a honky beats a black player in an important race/test it deserves a mention.
