Milan losing 1-0 at home to Atalanta. Milan look slightly whiter than the last time I saw them - where's Robinho? - but the quality isn't there. This looks like it will be a bad season for the Rossoneri.

Milan this year is a shadow of its former self. I watched the first half and Atalanta deserved to win by at least 2 goals. Atalanta's Denis ("El Tanque") looked like a giant, and an excellent game by their other Argentinian, Maxi Moralez. Robinho is injured... not that he would contribute anything of substance anyway... Milan's game was extremely weak in defence. Atalanta created at least 3-4 clear opportunities, hitting a post once, Milan's goalkeeper did several spectacular saves. In middlefield they were completely without ideas with the "Dutch" Emanuelson running around with little effect. What a joke letting Pirlo go to Juventus for 0 Euros. Toothless in attack, where Pazzini was alone and isolated and El Sharawy unwatchable (and was substituted). Boateng slow and predictable, very weak in ball interdiction and this "french" Kevin Konstant - I don't know how he ended up in the AC Milan... it must have been like drawing a winning lottery ticket for him. The new De Jond and Bojan Krkic did not show anything either. Now you can see how important was Ibrahimovic last year, and even the "colored" Thisgo Silva was a giant in defence, it must be admitted.
I haven't seen such a bad AC Milan for a long time, and I would not be surprised they end up between the 5 and the 10th place. I'm curious how they will do against Anderlecht next week.

Here's the goal from Atalanta - with Boateng and De Jong uninterested in blocking the shot...

meanwhile maxi lopez just scored 2 goals today so that's 3 goals in 3 matches for him (he only started 2 of these matches)
remember that he was not good enough for milan, they prefered mbaye niang, 3 goals in ligue 1 last season
sampdoria should be leading serie a currently whithout the penalities

Atalanta's Denis ("El Tanque") looked like a giant

he's the other strker i follow in serie a with maxi lopez
i always prefered these two to gonzalo higuain (althought i learnt to appreciate higuain more these last sesons when he was outscoring benzema at real madrid but wasn't titular)
last year german denis should have been top-scorer of the league but he got a big injury
he was still one of the best goal-scorers of the league
some goals from the last season: http://youtu.be/Ckan4cLRGlw
also he scored against big teams like internazionale so he's not just a good goalscorer like i believe pazzini or maybe di natale are, he's truly world class

and this "french" Kevin Konstant - I don't know how he ended up in the AC Milan... it must have been like drawing a winning lottery ticket for him.

that's more "logical" than this
remember when ac milan signed gourcuff in 2006?
since then ac milan had many "french" players or players from the french league: flamini, mexes (whites), taiwo, constant, mbaye niang (blacks)
and i probably forget a lot of them
also currently they are rumored to be interested in black players from ligue 1 like sakho, yanga mbiwa ect

that's not random
i mentionned multiple times here the aubameyang family: Pierre Aubameyang works for ac milan as a scout, and 3 of his sons turned pro in ac milan
his job is to find new "talents", and since he's "french" he does it in the french league

Inter were commanding in their 2-0 victory at Torino. Milito scored a goal out of nowhere then Cassano (ex-Milan!) scored the second goal.

On a personal note, the first Serie A match I ever watched was between Torino and Inter and was played at the Stadio delle Alpi, a home game for Torino. The final score was...Torino 0 Inter 2. IIRC Dennis Bergkamp scored the second Inter goal.

they even had great subs

having the best argentines and uruguayans in the italian league like batistuta, crespo, recoba, helped italy to be more competitive

Alvaro Recoba has still got it! Maybe not the speed but he's still got that terrific shot. I'm watching a match from Uruguay where Recoba now plays and he just scored a swerving left footed shot from an angle just to the right side of the box. (No video available yet). The commentator described it as "vintage Recoba". He's scored better ones but it will be another good one to add to his highlight collection. I can think of a couple of Serie A teams that could do with him even at his current age. Hopeless Milan comes to mind.

i won't even tell what uruguayan star player serie A wasted recently....and this while there were never as many south americans in serie A as now
they do everything wrong
the only south american properly used in italy is diego milito

For this round I have to repeat myself from the first post:

"Juventus seems to be by far the dominant power, Inter and AC Milan are definitely weaker this year, [it's going to be interesting to see] how low AC Milan and/or Inter can fall"

Well, today both Inter and Milan lost. Milan lost from Udinese 2:1 thanks to a dumb faul from their new Colombian black defender Christian Zapata who was sent off. The first goal from Udinese happened from a screw-up between the goalkeeper Albiati and the other central defender Mexes. Boateng was expelled because of 2 yellows, so the team finished the game with 9 players. This team lacks quality in all areas, but especially in middlefield where they are choke full of blacks with a lot of muscles and little brain (Boateng, De Jong). Even Montolivo who was supposed to be the new playmaker for now is a dissapointment. Supposedly there was an argument between Milan's coach Allegri and Pippo Inzaghi (who has ambitions of becoming the coach himself) over who was more fit to lead the team. There also are rumors that the owner, Silvio Berlusconi, is looking to sell the club.
Here's the game summary video:
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/video/espnfc/video/_/id/1169211/categoryid/843016
Inter also lost at home from Siena 2:0. Both goals were caused by bloopers from their black Brazilian defensive genius Juan Jesus, the first one was on a level of a 10 years old boy when, during a Siena triangulation, he went to follow the ball instead of following the man.

Juve kept Pirlo on the bench and tried the experiment (many times tried and abandoned) of playing with a black playmaker (Paul Pogba), with mediocre results. Fortunately for Juve, their striker Fabio Quagliarella is enjoying a second youth and solved the game with 2 goals.

"crumbling infrastructure and stadia..."
Today the Cagliari-Roma match was postponed indefinitely because the authorities considered the stadium to be unsafe... We'll see if there are going to be any follow-ups on this.

speaking of pirlo, in france we have the new pirlo, verratti, he plays for PSG, another player that we robbed to italian football
and we give you our physical blacks like pogba

seriously verratti is amazing, he might be the most talented young italian player (because i was very disappointed with the new generation)

it's a shame that inter bought juan jesus...everybody knows who the new lucio is: http://www.calcionapoli24.it/?action=read&idnotizia=80124

Verrati was very good in Pescara last year in Serie B and many big teams in Italy wanted him, but could not afford the price tag. He's a passer, the type of player that has become a rarity today, when the ball is moved not by passing but by "muscling" it from one part of the pitch to the other in a physical game. After all, you need perfect technical skills to pass a ball at the right moment, right angle, right speed and trajectory... something Pogba can dream about. We should create a post about this 19 years old kid in the "White Talents" thread.
Uvini did not appear in the Napoli lineup for now, not even on the bench. He didn't play much for Tottenham either as far as I remember... Not sure why.

Anyway, here's are the highlights from Inter - Siena 0:2, look at the disastrous defending from juan jesus... should be in the "terrible defenders" thread, although Nagatomo also contributes to the second goal:

The postponed game between Cagliari and Roma will apparently be registered 3:0 for Roma as Cagliari failed to provide the appropriate conditions for the game.

uvini couldn't play for tottenham (because he wasn't registered), he was there to train in another country: http://www.castefootball.us/forums/...-championships?p=240933&viewfull=1#post240933

in napoli i read that he's the 8th choice as central defender: http://www.spazionapoli.it/2012/uvini-scalpita-e-lancia-un-appello-a-mazzarri/93784
but he's in the group for the champions league, and since napoli doesn't play champions league seriously he could get some playtime in champions league

what you have here is a player that refused huge offers from richer clubs (like paris saint germain, for example, where former sao paulo player leonardo wanted him ) because he wants to play only in italy, because he's italian and he believes that it's the league where he can become a great defender
thiago silva told him to go to italy because it's where he will become great
former sao paulo players who played for napoli also told him to go there
so he chose sports instead of money, which is really rare, but not very rare amongst brazilian stars - while for lesser known players like hulk it doesn't matter (remember how robinho was destroyed in brazil when he decided to go to manchester city for the money, while at chelsea he could have played under scolari)

i hope that italy won't waste this talent

i also saw that lazio lost a match for the first time (they won their first 3 matches), it was their first match with mikael ciani:

it's such a shame to see this kind of players in italy, especially in lazio, and especially central defenders
he looked very slow on the only goal of the match: http://youtu.be/DkAOgvdRyNw?t=1m41s

you can be sure that i'll monitor his performances very closely

They play away to Napoli on Wednesday night. According to the first post Napoli have only one black - Zuniga, a Columbian winger. They also appear to have a Turk who is a Swiss citizen and an ethnic Albanian. That would make Napoli one of the whitest of the top teams in Serie A.

I saw that, and Ciani was indeed very slow in that action, although it has to be said that the other central defender - Biava - had a cramp in that very moment and was not able to make a run.
Anyway, fantastic strike by Boriello - yet another one of these players which (like Maxi Lopez) were "not good enough" for AC Milan...

i'm watching the match, lazio was dominating, but their defenders let cavani shoot easily from outside of the penalty area
then a defender deflected the ball and beat his own keeper....that defender was ciani, ofcourse :icon_cool:

2-0 now
i'm watching it in french and the commentator can't believe what he is seeing, there is littetrally no defence (3 black defenders out of 4, and the last one is a brazilian mestizo)

Cavani has now scored his second goal of the half. Maybe the Lazio keeper could've done better. The new darker Lazio, which lost at home to a middle of the road team on the weekend, isn't looking too successful.

Meanwhile Milan leading Cagliari 1-0 but Cagliari are starting to get into the game more. The half Egyptian El Shaarawy scored the goal. Note: Boateng is not playing due to ban.

After Cavani scored again Ciani gave away a penalty which Cavani missed. It doesn't really matter at this stage. It's been a defensive nightmare for Lazio.

ciani was a clown when he played in france, he's still a clown in italy
now the question is: what were they thinking? don't they try to get infos before signing a player? incredible

also klose told to the referee to disallow his goal because he touched the ball with his hand:

59cd15caf468463fc76640400193f3d0-15510-d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e.jpg

and he did so while the score was still 0-0

Some interesting results in Serie A this week. Juventus first drew with Fiorentina away in a weak performance on Wednesday (a mid-week round was played), then they crushed Roma 4:1 at home in a very convincing game. Pirlo played as playmaker most of the game, very successfully, and scored a goal from a free kick. He was replaced by Pogba towards the end of the game to rest him a bit for the PL game next week. Great game by Marchisio too. Napoli took advantage of the 2 points Juve lost mid-week and are now sharing the first place with the same number of points as Juventus. The two teams seem to be the main candidates for the "Scudetto" this year. Inter slowly climbed to the third place today, after a win over Fiorentina. Milan had another dissapointing draw (away with Parma) and is now in 11th place, 9 poins from the top. It will be interesting to see how they will perform against Zenith St. Petersburg next week. Robinho playedlast 20 minutes and barely touched the ball.
Chievo Verona and Cagliari definitely are in trouble. On the other side, in Serie B Hellas Verona is doing great and we may see next year Chievo Verona (which is an artificial team with little real support) be replaced by Hellas Verona (a team with a large, passionate and racially aware support base). It would be great to watch Hellas Verona again in Serie A after 10 years.
An interesting thing to notice is how old the best Italian players are. The best players today were Fabrizio Miccoli (see his amazing goal against Chievo from Verona) who is 33, Gilardino scored 2 goals for Bologna and is going through a second youth (30 years old), Cassano was the man of the match with Inter (Age 30), andrea Pirlo is one Juve's best (33), Antonio Di Natale is Udinese's top player (34). Very few new players are coming through the youth systems (Insigne from Napoli and Verrati from Pescara who went to PSG come to mind, and... not much else). It is becoming evident how the short-sighted policy of buying "finished" foreign players instead of growing their own young players... In a few years I expect both Italy and serie A to be even more in full decline. I have to praise Barca who is the only big European team to have a decent number of home-grown players in their sqad, and being better at growing their own players had brought to Spain great successes, both at the team as well as at national level.

Brief comment on this match day. Both Juventus as well as Napoli continue to win and are at the top of the table. They will play against each other after the pause for the World Cup qualifications. It will be an interesting match. Napoli's first 11 are almost all White (with the exception of Cavani who is partially Amerindian). Juve's first 11 also are almost all white (although they will put in Asamoah and/or Pogba in case some of the titulars are not able to play or if they want to rest some crucial players like Pirlo or Marchisio). In general, I see that the colored players are mostly reserves (with a number of exceptions, of course).
The big match today was Milan - Inter 0:1. Once more the poor performance of the non-white players was evident, together with a poor performance from Milan's goalkeeper Abbiati who just a few days ago against Zenith St. Petersburg was the best player in the field. Inter scored at the beginning of the game and managed to keep the 1:0 result until the end, even after Nagatomo was (too harshly) expelled. AC Milan is one of the teams with the most colored titulars (even blacker than Udinese). Today they fielded De Jong, Emanuelson, Boateng, El Sharawy (who will be called to the Italian National Team) and Robinho in the second half. All of these performed poorly, especially Boateng and De Jong. Emanuelson was the closer to obtaining a satisfactory rating. Inter had Juan Jesus, poor as usual (there is some footage of him at the "bad defenders" thread), Nagatomo played OK and was harshly expelled for a handball. The best players were Montolivo in Milan (if only he could play consistently like that), Ranocchia and Samuel for Inter.
The American Michael Bradley scored his first Serie A goal for Roma against Atalanta.

My enjoyment of the Juve v Napoli match was ruined by Pogba's goal, not to mention his obnoxious celebration. Otherwise it is notable that these top two teams in Serie A are whiter than pretty much every other team I've seen this year in Italy.

poor serie A...
a few years ago the premiere league was full of these black french players, and the quality of the league suffered a lot
now there are a lot fewer in england, but there are a lot more in serie A
pogba was fired from manchester united, and now he plays (he actually plays, because i thought that he would stay on the bench) in the best italian club

AC milan lost against lazio and they could be in the relegation zone tonight after all the matches will be played
lazio no longer use the ridiculous black defender ciani
in AC milan the black striker mbaye niang ( http://www.castefootball.us/forums/...lack-attackers?p=256285&viewfull=1#post256285 ) was first caught driving a car whithout driving licence, he tried to fool the cops by saying tat he was traore or constant (another french black player of AC milan)

then he was exposed for going to a night club in paris 3 days before a crucial match for the french under 21 national team while his team mates were preparing the match
they lost badly to norway and won't be at the under 21 euro champs
because of this, his career at AC milan could already over
