Is Donovan McNabb black enough? Think about it. He is very well spoken and seems to really appreciate the importance of being a gentleman. I really appreciate that about him and that is why I root for him. Do you wonder if he is not considered a good enough leader on a predominately black team because he possesses these qualities?

I read an interesting analysis on a message board comparing McNair's Super Bowl season which culminated in defeat, to that of Brad Johnson's who LED his team to victory. It could have been written by one of us.
Brad Johnson's was widely considered a care taker for the Bucs last year right??.... despite the fact he led the NFC in passing,threw for over 3,000 yds in only 13 games.He had good wideouts but he had no running game and an extremly mediore offensive line.And he also had one of the best td/int ratios 22/6 but he was constantly dissed though.despite the fact that the put up great stats.And in the playoffs he put up

20/33 259 yds 1 Td int great game especially considering it was against the NFL's best pass defense.
18/34 215 yds 2 td int good game
Johnson's reg season nunbers 13 games 62.3 pct 3,048 yds 6.8 avg 22 td 6 INT.
so not only did he put up great reg season stats he put up good postseason numbers as well.
But Steve McNair the man who never recieves criticism and receives nothing but praise did the following during the Titans Super Bowl run.

Maybe because Mcnair seems to get clocked alot and needs smelling salts every other game. I didn't know his stats were Dilferesque that season. I guess he really didn't "lead" his team to the AFC championship......Bart said:
