Only accidently I stumbled on a TV network news story about Mike Ditka preaching advocacy for disabled NFL players who get zip nothing as a pension. Not surprising to me. Mike was pointing fingers at "Greedy Rich Owners" and greedy rich players who contribute not to a kitty for players with permanent disabilities.

Several White players, some recently played with Jax Jaguars, sit at home with terrible, permanent injuries and have lost all their money in surgeries and medical treatment. Showed JAX player hobbling around his house with cane, shaking from disorder from injuries, lost all money, cars repossessed, children going to minority-filled public school, wife working a low-paying job ... Mike was quite piszed!

It was good to see Mike ranting his temper about this, rather than rants in the past about breaking Buddy Ryan's neck. But I recall a TV piece years ago showing Jim Otto, number double-zero, from Oakland Raiders fame in 1960s and 70s ... he was all beaten up and hunched over from gruesome back injuries. His wife would bring home buckets full of ice every day and fill up this back-bridle with the ice, to ease Mr. Otto's constant pain. That was at least 20 years ago ... How much more hideous it must be today with slime-Vultures like Daniel Snyder and Willy Bidwill owning football teams, collecting dollars, bringing in negroes and unwhites exclusively, and screwing White players at every opportunity

Anyone know more about the recent NFL injured players pension story?Edited by: Realgeorge

Hall of Fame DT from the Dallas Cowboys' Bob Lilly gets $132.50 a MONTH. If that tells you how rediculous it it!

Just enough motivation to actually finish college and get a degree in something that you can use in case your football career goes belly up.

It's amazing and sickening to see how much power money and political power have. It can pick and choose who gets the nicest deals, who gets hype, and who gets the chances.
They have so much money! Truly needy and truly greedy.
College coaches at a lot of places don't care much about the players at all, as long as they can win a couple of football games. The humanity of players isn't considered today much. In that movie, Brian's Song, George Halas was always looking out for his players. With more money comes less personality.
