One positive point for us in this situation is that most of America outside of New Yawk is irritated by the Yankees, particularly with the media efforts to label them "America's Team."

This won't be that big of a deal. The media doesn't cover baseball as much as basketball & football. Also, last year Mariano Rivera did the goodbye tour and who even really noticed. The Yankees have managed to fill their lineup again with big name stars so there will be plenty of Yankee stories to go around this year though. hwell:
