I don't know if this has been covered already but I've seen a bunch of pictures of this guy playing (none of his face) and he looks really light-skinned so I was wondering if he was in fact white or if he was just a light-skinned black>

I thoughtJohnson was white last year the first time I saw him during a televised game, not least because Boise State is one of the very few I-A programs to let whites run the ball.

Speaking of which, Jon Helmandollar is back with the team after sitting out '05 for personal reasons. As a freshman in '04 he had an incredible 14 touchdown runs, on just 46 carries yet. Yes he was used mostly as a goal line back, but he still averaged 5.0 yards per rush. Only someone with great talent could do that.

But so far this season Helmandollar has just 9 carries, for 36 yards and 1 TD. Looks like hisrunning abilityis going to be totally wasted. And at 5-11 and 215 he has no chance of being ballooned up into a backfield offensive lineman in the NFL, aka fullback.
