Watch for SL Perry McDaniel and TE John McGilvray to get some reps. Also SLB James Fitch will probably fit into the big linebacker rotation of Houston's 3-4-4 defensive scheme.

Hopefully Kendall Briles ,the coach's son will see the field. He was Texas's backup free safety before his dad got this job. He's played WR and QB as well. He's an excellent athlete. I watched him QB all white Stephenville to a state championship a few years back. He's been moved too much in college.

Briles, the father is a fine coach and Briles the son is certainly a talented athlete.

As a resident of the Houston area who has watched the Cougars for many years, I hope these guys do well
