Excellent post jacknyc. It's a crime how many of our guys for probably 5 decades or longer have been held down, slotted and just out right ignorred. What a talent this kid is. I actually would prefer he chose track but he could do both on the next level. Damn is he fast. It's gonna be interesting to see where he ends up.
tenacity. most all of us could stand to use more of what this girl found within herself in this high school race at the 2021 Louie Bing Invitational yesterday. outstanding effort!
Drew Donley is the same as Thomas Donley. His name is Thomas Drew Donley, and he goes by Drew. He must have changed his mind about Mississippi - he's signed to Cincinnati.
Oh yeah, you're right. Wow, the potential of this kid. He had a 4.34 40 yard dash in high school. He's only going to get faster and stronger as he matures. https://gobearcats.com/sports/football/roster/drew-donley/10200
Thanks for the video of Miller. Gotta say listening to that female announcer is akin to getting a root canal with no freezing! UGHHH
at the same meet as above (Adidas Indoor Championships), Jacob Kao, a senior from Massachusetts, took third place in the 200m (21.54 running in heat 1) and made the final as the lone White athlete in the 60m. he ran a 6.88 in the prelims (and was the fourth fastest qualifier) but tightened up in the final to take seventh (6.95).
Another kid from Germany that I'm watching very closely is 16 year old Lennart Hartenberg. He has already run a p.b. of 6.75! Hartenberg is the fastest under 18 sprinter in all of Europe and he hasn't even turned 17 yet. One to watch very closely!
that girl has some wheels, that's Cunliffe territory.. Hartenberg looks long and lean so lots of strength to be gained as he fills out.
Freshman Allison Ince won the Adidas national Indoor 800m in 2.09.42, quite impressive considering she had run a race a couple hours earlier. Tall, long legged and lean...future looks good for her
