Tim Tebow outplayed Sam Bradford last night and outplayed him all season. Tebow should have won the Heisman Trophy. But this wasn't the first time a White player has been robbed of the award. Joe Theismann 1970[Jim Plunkett],Chuck Fusina 1978 [Billy Sims],Steve Young 1983 [Mike Rozier],Chuck Long 1985 [Bo Jackson],Casey Weldon 1991 [Desmond Howard],Peyton Manning 1997[Charles Woodson]and now 2008 with Tim Tebow getting the most 1st place votes and finishing 3rd!! Tim Tebow was the best player in college football for the last two seasons.
Can you White brothers think of other White players who were robbed of their Heisman Trophy??

I don't think tim tebow was robed. I think Bradford or McCoy should have won. Also Bradford is 1/16 native witch means coupled with the fact that he was raised as a white person means he's white.

I know Rick Leach of Michigan was up for a Heisman in either 1977 or 1978 and was robbed. What is truly unfortunate is that by the end of his career at UM, Leach became a multi-dimensional player who didn't need to be team captain to be an all-around leader. I also tend to think that he was turned down because of the reality of the Wolverines not being able to win Bowl games (1976-Orange Bowl, 1977-79 Rose Bowl).

I remember Ricky Leach-I lived in Akron,Ohio at the time and remember the Michigan/Ohio State games. Leach was a very good player.
Also Paul Giel of Minnesota 1953,Johnny Majors of Tennessee 1956 and Bob Chappius of Michigan 1947 were very good football players who were up for the Heisman.
I read today that Tebow,McCoy,Reesing were coming back next year and if Jimmy Clausen can play next year like he played in the bowl game against Hawaii he can be a possible candidate.

The Heisman could've went to McCoy or Tebow. IMO, Tebow's the best football player in the NCAA today.
