This is another fight that will be electric stateside in the US. Pretty sure the usual culprits will be hoping that Jacobs pulls the upset and set the cult marx/caste in order.

But GGG is once in a lifetime fighter and will send Jacobs to the hospital after the fight. Jacobs is a good fighter and most dangerous opponent to date. But GGG will not be deterred.

I see a very competitive for the 1st 5 rounds, then GGG will take over and KO Jacobs. The end comes in the 7th round with Jacobs face down. Count on it.

Good points West. Jacobs couldn't handle Pirog's power, he won't take to GGG's any better. Had Pirog not been injured, he and GGG would be disputing the world-wide title.

Getting excited for this fight this weekend. It will be epic and murderous. Jacobs has no idea what awaits him until he gets ripped by a left hook body shot. After that its all down hill. I see Jacobs' corner tossing in the towel say round 7 or 8.

I can't see Jacobs doing anything as Golovkin has never been hurt nor out boxed. Jacobs was crushed by Pirog and suffered a flash knockdown against light punching Mora. It could be a question of how much Jacobs can take rather than if this fight is truly competitive.

Jacobs (Mickey Mouse ears) is already spooked. He's been chattering all week about his chin not being weak, and he's not afraid of GGG's power, and he's so confident, and ... yeah, you know.
Yes he refused the conventional handshake and walked away quickly. Also it's not if GGG is a crude bombastic street person ala prime Tyson or Jake Lamotta. Jacobs seems to be whistling in the graveyard so to speak.

Ps. a Jacobs win would be even bigger than Douglas' shock win over Tyson as Tyson's chaotic life had hints of a possible loss at some point as he frequently missed training days and ate and drank like a barbarian and never met groupie/floozy/prostitutes that he ever turned down.

While GGG is a clean liver who has a normal personal and professional life.

LOL. Jacobs thinks that n*gger intimidating sh*t (stare and fast gum chewing) is going to have GGG pause. LOL . A real beat down is coming tmrw. Jacobs is scared and resorted to his ghetto upbringing. It gets no play today nor tmrw.

Weigh ins should be immediately before the fight. Fighters should have access to officially calibrated scales beforehand so they know what their weight is and how much they need to lose. This is stupid. The guy's supposed to be a middleweight but if he comes in over 175 he'll actually be a cruiserweight.

Financially its the right move for Jacobs. He will lose and not have to pay the IBF sanction fees. Which are probably around 50 to 70K. My guess fight time GGG=173 and Jacobs=178 lbs. Its not going to help him. The first time he gets tapped, most likely in surviving mode.

Jacobs is a rotten cheater. He will probably be 10-15 pounds heavier than GGG fight time.
Maybe ten. I wonder if he will get on the scales when asked to do the HBO weigh in right before the fight. Probably not.

Like I said, no way will Jacobs be able to withstand a GGG power shot to the body or head. Jacobs draped on the canvas by round 8.

I hope you are right but remember when Jacobs knocked Quillin out? This is boxing and anything can happen. This will also be his best opponent to date. I would have loved to see a rematch between Jacobs and Pirog.

GGG will approach Jacobs like he did Lemieux. With caution. Using the power to jab to probe and break him down.

I'm sure everyone here has noticed that Jacobs has a size advantage. Four inches in reach and he looks like a super middleweight. But is he prepared to deal with GGG's subtle skill set is the question. I think Triple G will be a problem that no fighter on Jacob's resume has posed. On the other hand he'll be the biggest fastest fighter GGG has faced.

I would give Jacob's the edge in experience for coming back from adversity. After the Pirog fight and the cancer I thought we'd seen the last of him.

Still, if he couldn't take Pirog's punch....

Let's go GGG! Super stoked tonight will be the first time I've had the privilege of seeing him live on PPV!
