Figured it deserved its own thread.. according to espn.com's roundup here are some moves so far:

Dolphins sign guard Justin Smiley from San Francisco to a 5 year, $25 million deal.

Bengals DE Justin Smith will be visiting San Francisco on friday.

Panthers re-sign FB Brad Hoover.

Bills safety Jim Leonhard will become a free agent after the Bills did not making a qualifying offer, they did, however, re-sign S/CB Dustin Fox and WR Scott Mayle.

Zach Thomas officially signs with the Cowboys.

Titans re-sign T David Stewart and Rob Bironas.

Broncos re-sign John Engelberger to a two-year deal.

The Cowboys probably had the steal of free agency with the signing of Zack 'the maniac' Thomas. He needed a change of scenery and IMHO is STILL one of the most dominant players in the league. LB requires tenacity, ferociousness, and jarring hits on a opponent invading turf. All white soldier qualities. Zack gets overshadowed in the AFC just because he cant do/doesn't do some lunatic tribal dance before the start of every game and kill somebody in real life. The Dolphins deserve to be in the cellar for letting him go. What's white is right.

I'm really interested to see where Justin Smith ends up. I've followed Smith since his college days at Missouri, and am very happy to see him getting out of the circus that is Cincy. That team resembles a rehab/parole group more than a football team.

Stay away from SF. We need Smith to sign with a top tier white team that already possesses a few white starters. He would be a great fit in New England.

Remember, Justin Smith was a Top 10 pick and did receive the 'Franchise Tag' a few years back with the Bengals. Getting away from those buffoons in Ciny would do wonders for him.

Jerhame Urban wasn't tendered by Cards, i wonder where he will end up.

Bucs are interested in Niko Koutovides, the buzz here is that even though he would be initially a backup at MLB, he might get a chance to start on either side of Ruud.

Seahawks are raving about Logan Payne who according to their GM might be their 3rd receiver this season.

Greg Camarillo was tenderd by Dolphins, although i wouldn't hold my breath over both him and David Kircus making the club.

Chargers resigned Steve Gregory

Now for some negative news Cleo Lemon is going to sign with Jacksonville to back up David Garrad. I swear on all that is faithful that the Jaguars fold up shop because of poor ticket sales and cease to exist as a franchise their going to pay this loser 8 million over 3 years. Really does this orginization have any credibilty left, or will their drunken white fans wake up and demand this bull stop, and that the franchise will go with the best plyaers regardless of race. Man I freaking hate that damn franchise they can all go straight to hell. Them and all of their stupid fans. Edited by: Don Wassall

I agree. Problem is, every other franchise has the exact same type of fan base.

I disagree, this is AWESOME news!

Think about it, there were many talks of Lemon going to the Vikings. What if he would have eventually taken Jackson's QB spot? Now, however, with Lemon the backup on a team with an all-black QB roster in Jacksonville(like every season), he won't have to take away a potential white QB's spot whenever they give up on Jackson in Minnesota. The Jaguars can get as many black players as they like...they're still going to lose every season in the playoffs.

This is GOOD news, trust me. With the Jags aweful WRs (the newest Troy Williamson), I could see them only throwing the ball 10-15 times a game anyway. The fact that he's getting all that money as a backup...well, what can I say, it's Jacksonville.

I was kinda shocked by this, not even the low 582,000$(or such..) tender? Bryant Johnson is going to walk away, Fitzgerald situation seem unstable, and Jerhame somewhat had good production last year. That's just wrong.

RFA Derek Anderson was tendered a one year offer for $2.5 million. Browns GM Phil Savage is quoted as saying Cleveland is unlikely to match if Anderson gets a better offer.

Most Browns fans may feel differently, but I'd like to see Anderson sign with another team because he would be a starter and it would clear the way for Brady Quinn to start for the Browns. A win-win deal for white QBs.

Jerry Porter signed a long-term deal with JAX too, now here's the question: Does Jones get cut or is traded?

You can bet the Jax fans on the message boards will be oohing and aahing over this one. Porter is just one of the many black receivers who is regarded by the drunk white fans asa star even as he underachieves season after season. And of course Porter will also be given a complete pass for being a "locker room cancer" in Oakland even when Art Shell was the head coach there, whileMatt Jones is endlessly castigated for his "bad body language."

Porter is a formersecond round draft pick who has played 8 seasons and has zero thousand yard years and a career total of 3,939 yards, or under 500 yards per season on average.

Matt Jones averaged a little over 500 yards his first two seasons, and still managed 317 yards in '07 despite being made inactive for a number of games and otherwise treated as the team pariah.

Troy Williamson and Jerry Porter on the same team!! And Cleo Lemon!!! The drunk white fans of Africa's Teammust bein their glory. Edited by: Don Wassall

I thought the biggest downer so far was the Saints trading for Vilma. I guess one year of having one all white Linebacking corps was too much for the NFL to take....

They did re-sign Simoneau, so there is hope that Vilma won't be able to beat out one of the "Snow Patrol" trio, but I have a feeling that it won't be a fair competiton.

Vilma was pretty solid when healthy, but the trick is to stay healthy, and he won't be able to do that. Simoneau is definitely not done yet!
Saints also resigned Bryan Young, btw.

also, Broncos released Ian Gold, which might make it easier for Jordan Beck to get some PT on defense.Edited by: backrow

Vilma had a huge year in '05, but tailed off in '06 and was on IR in '07. However he'll be able to get by on his reputation for several more years even if he never again approaches his previous level of play.

A great example is Kendrell Bell, whohad a big rookie year at LB for the Steelers in 2001, then quickly tailed off and also became injury prone. But every season until about 2006, big things were predicted for Bell from the media and the drunk white fans that he never came close to fulfilling.

Another one is "The Freak," Jevon Kearse, who had 14.5 sacks his rookie year of 1999, then 11.5 and 10 sacks the next two years, then rapidly fell off in sacks along with always pitiful tackle totals. Yet hemaintained his great reputation and was able to sign a huge free agent deal with Philly long after his decline had begun.

Unfortunately Redskins exec Vinny Cerato is saying they won't be doing much in free agency. They should be going after Justin Smith & Derek Anderson. Matt Jones would be ideal in DC too. I guess I'll just keep hoping.

The Jags are ridiculous with their QB's, but Thrashen's point is a good one. Maybe they'll sign McNabb & Culpeppertoo!

The Browns turned around and signed Anderson to a 3 year deal. Looks like Quinn is not going to be starting any time soon, too bad for him would like to see him outperforming JaMarcus in the NFL.

Speaking of the Jags Quarterback situation....

Why would Todd Bouman sign there with Mike Tice on their staff? Mike Tice is the guy who traded Bouman (who was clearly better then the starter, Daunte Culpepper, at the time) and cited that Bouman was too White as his rationale. Of course no one in the MM picked up on the story and it came and went in a day or two, and here Bouman is years later playing for a guy who treated him like that...

Go figure. I wonder if he regrets signing there now that they have brought in yet another brother with lesser credentials who will likely be planted above him on the depth chart.

from rotoworld.com:

49ers signed DE Justin Smith to a six-year, $45 million contract. The deal includes $20 million in guarantees.

He never made it to Minneapolis. Smith, the No. 4 pick in 2001, will be used often with his hand up in San Francisco's 3-4, allowing Tully Banta-Cain to be a nickel rusher. He'll also see a good amount of action at end in the Niners' 4-3 fronts. Smith hasn't played linebacker as a pro, but has the motor and athleticism to be effective there.

Ahh, the standard "motor" that only white DEs seem to have. Whatever, Smith is now a much richer man...playing for a rich caste organization. I wish he would have signed with a team that actually has a future or is even worth watching from a caste footballers perspective.

He's going to gain weight to play as a 3-4 DE. Remember, Bryant Young retired not that long ago. They did the same with their other DE, had him gain about 15 lbs to hold at the point of attack.

Donte Stallworth signed with Cleveland, which ends Joe Jurevicius's two years as a starter.

Hey, I hope I'm wrong. But I think that DE contracts are bigger than OLB contracts and so that's why he was signed that way. I just don't want to have to hear about his 'poor coverage skills' since that seems to be the new knock against every white defender around.

The Saints had a visit scheduled with Travis Laboy from the Titans, but it was cancelled on Saturday. I was truly hoping that this would help ease the trade of Vilma and provide a little more "diversity" to the Saints DL since the LB's seem to be moving in a different direction. Laboy now appears headed to either Cleveland or back with the Titans.
