What a lamentable display that forum is. They reacted similarly when John Isner tweeted a complaint about the rootless Jew York crowd cheering for monkey Monfils against him at the US Open (Isner won that match, btw). I hope the growing number of Russians, Serbs, Croats and Poles in the upper tier of tennis will not capitulate to the antivalues of the EU-USA axis. Tipsarevic is already hated on that website for making anti-*** comments.

Fognini has since apologised, as expected. If tennis fans want to be outraged, they should be outraged by his pathetic capitulation in that match, which he lost 4-6 0-6, double faulting on match point and when he was facing a break point at 0-3. This is standard behaviour for him, as anyone who saw his matches against Stepanek in Cincinnati, Monfils in Paris and Ram in New York will remember. He is a massive headcase who gives up easily if things aren't going his way.

Some of the pernicious retards in the Italian press refer to him as "the Balotelli of tennis". The difference is that Fognini has a lot of natural talent, which he squanders by behaving like a prat. When he is at his peak level, he is a joy to watch (e.g. here), and could easily be in the top ten if he played at least 75% in every match. Balotelli has very little talent to squander, and he would still be a third rate striker even if he played 100% in every match, but that won't stop his apologists for making excuses.

And the Australian Open where he was booed leaving the court after his demolition by Djokovic. It was pretty clear then that Fognini just couldn't be bothered putting up a fight.
