In Russia today, it took Russian heavyweight Evgeny Romanov (12-0, 9 KOs) less than two minutes of the first round to destroy bigger Canadian Dillon Carman (14-4, 13 KOs) with a crushing right cross-left hook combination.

Romanov is best known for knocking out WBC titleholder Deontay Wilder in 2008 while both were amateurs.

Great find! I watched the fight replay and he has power in both hands and it seemed like he moves a little bit like GGG actually. By looking at his record, this was definitely his biggest test to date as he's mostly fought journeyman types. Carman is not a push over either as his last fight was a stoppage win against a game Simon Kean. We will need to see Romanov be tested more so we can see how he does as an undersized heavyweight against top level guys, but he's one to watch for sure.
