WBO heavyweight Lamon Brewster (32-2, 28 KO's), will defend his title against Luan Krasniqi on September 24 in Hamburg, Germany. Brewster recently easily destroyed Andrew Golota in the 1st round on May 21, 2005. For Brewster, this will be his third title defense since shocking the boxing world by knocking out Wladimir Klitschko in the 5th round on April 10, 2004 to win the WBO title. In that fight, Brewster was a punching bag for 5 rounds before finally coming alive and using his lethal left hook to end it. Since then, Brewster has become much more confident with his new swarming style offense, with many people drawing comparisons to a young Tyson.

Brewster's opponent, Krasniqi (29-1), an Albanian-born German, who recently surprized many when he knocked out the hard punching Lance Whitaker in the 6th round on May 28, 2005. Krasniqi will be taking a big leap up in opposition when he meets up with Brewster, as before fighting Whitaker, he had fought mostly in Europe against lesser talented fighters. The key to victory for Krasniqi will be for him to somehow keep distance between him and Brewster, and use movement, otherwise he will likely get taken apart like Andrew Golota.

In addition, on September 24, WBC Int´l champ Sinan Samil Sam will now face Oleg Maskaev in a WBC eliminator. The fight goes to purse bids on August 8th..

Italian welter Michele Di Rocco takes on unknown Israeli Emad Shmouel for the vacant IBF Youth title August 5 in San Mango d´Acquino.

Danish feather Jagdar Abdulla, 8-0-2 against pretty tough opponents, has signed with British manager Frank Maloney. Abdulla, previously with Team Palle, will continue to train in Aarhus under the capable Brian Mathiasen. Jagdar is expected to make his British debut in September.

Tye Fields is another big White heavyweight who will be fighting Saul Montana August 5th. I'd like to see all these White fighters become more active.

Tye Fields Ko'd Saul Montana. Tye is bigger then Samuel Peter and has more punching power. Fields gets none of the PRESS that Peter gets. Maskaev beat Rahman and has a better record. Why is Rahman rated ahead of Oleg? Mesi was called a BUM by the PC Media but he beat Williamson and Barrett who now get a title shot. Guinn was given much press until Lyhakovich beat him-now no one talks about Guinn but Lyhakovich gets no press either! Wlad beat Bryd, Williamson, Mercer and Barrett an yet he still gets no respect from the Jock Sniffers. So now Calvin Brock is there "brown eyed boy" let the bum fight Valuev. The PC media will understand one thing and that is when a White Male gives a member of another race a good butt whipping. Looks like we'll have to beat some respect into these clowns who disrespect the WHITE MALE.

Liakhovich suffered an injury during training for his upcoming bout against Owen Beck. He is out for at least 4 weeks. Don King has replaced him with some guy named Ray Austin.

Serguei Lyakhovich's injury is a setback but he will heal-this fight now between Beck and Austin has no appeal-WHO CARES about either of these two bums-in order to boost the gate and give this fight some real fan interest Oleg Maskeav or Tye Fields should be the replacement not Austin.
