I see Austria's managed to scrounge up another black besides Alaba to play for them... Ruben Okotie... who was eligible to represent Nigeria, Austria, and Pakistan....

How on earth did he become eligible to represent that set of nations?
Mental,I tell you.:der:

With Germany's new found diversity squad members in Bellarabi and Rudiger, I'm glad they lost to Poland and only managed a draw with the Irish. I'll cheer for the Germans again once those two are glued back on the bench, or better yet, off the team. It sounds like Loew was just experimenting with right-backs to replace Lahm, so hopefully, a couple of white backs are called up in November.

In previous years, the Germans might have been a bit worried about only securing four out of nine points but UEFA's expansion of the finals tournament has made it quite difficult for the top teams not to qualify. Handing passage to the finals to a whopping 24 teams out of a 54 nation confederation has debased the value of the entire competition.

The likes of Germany would have to finish outside the top three to be eliminated. Third place - which up to now would have been viewed as a disaster - is sufficient to secure a playoff berth therefore Germany can afford to experiment with second-string players in competitive matches without potentially fatal consequences.

For Italy-Croatia to be played on Sunday, Italy's coach Antonio Conte again called Mario Balotelli and he's back in the mix. Conte must be desperate for strikers given the abysmal shape "Super Mario" is in. The probable starters in attack are Ciro Immobile and Simone Zazza, with Balotelli lurking in the background. Rumors are that the "Senators" in the Italian team (lead by Daniele De Rossi and Gianluigi Buffon) are not exactly enthusiastic about this call-up. Not only that, but there is a possibility to see a second black in the Italian team - Angelo Ogbonna, who is one of the possible replacements for the red-carded Leonardo Bonucci who cannot play. So much for an all-White Italian team.
Croatia will field an all-White team, gone are the Brazilians with Croatian passport for the time being.

He is being rewarded for the great season he's having at Liverpool.

Really looking forward to the Germany v Gibraltar match later. It should be a cracker.

Greece lost 1-0 to Faroe Islands in Athens!!!! :icon_eek:

Oh, and Germany ended up winning 4-0 against Gibralter, with of course their mandatory quota of 3 non-whites in the starting lineup.

A bad day for the Irish. The Republic lost 1-0 away to Scotland and Northern Ireland came crashing back down to earth after losing 2-0 away to Romania. As for Greece...

I was watching on a stream and got really annoyed by the Scotland v Ireland post-game show. The Scottish goal was very skilful but the presenter said something like "here's the goal from Brazil...No, not Brazil, Scotland". His sidekick said it's the type of goal one would associate with Brazil. So even after their drubbing in the World Cup, which proceeded decades of not so beautiful football - even when they won the WC in 1994 and 2002 - we still get the Brazil=beautiful football BS. I think I now have to accept that if Brazil never play another great match of football that 50 years from now we will still be hearing pundits bleating on about the greatness of samba football from Brazil.

Just caught the pre-game photos for the Germany-Australia line-ups today. The German squad had at least 5 non-whites/Germans on it, and I actually could not believe it. I know they're reserves during the real matches but it looks like the wire-pullers are gunning for Germany's general racial homogeneity (save for oezil, kedhira and boatang). A sort of 'probe', if you will.

I noticed this as well, and as a fan of the German team, I was hoping they'd lose to Australia (they ended up in a 2-2 draw). From following the team, the 5 they managed to dig up are about the only non-whites who even have the talent to represent Germany. "Weird" how that works, isn't it?

On a side note, where the heck did this Bellarabi guy come from? I noticed they just started calling him up after the World Cup. Also, I don't pay enough attention, but what in the does Gundogan do to get called back time and time again? I've looked at his stats, and they seemed fairly unimpressive... but then again, I'm not the biggest football guy here. I see the great Sami Khedira got called up and even started after a very impressive campaign so far this year... 11 total games, with most of them coming off the bench.

Loew infuriates me sometimes with his choices.

On an off-topic note, it was great to see Denmark and their 11 whites beat Klinnsmann's too-dark USA squad, where there were only 4 white starters today...

I’m not sure how many whites started the match for Denmark, but for the last 20 minutes there was a mulatto (Simon Poulson) and a Guyanese (Martin Braithwaite) on the pitch for the Danes.

Still, it was a nice win over the increasingly “cosmopolitanâ€￾ (that is, talentless Mestizos, American blacks, light-skinned Hispanics, dark-skinned Hispanics, mudshark-spawn from Europe, and whites) U.S. team, who simply isn’t very good without Landon Donovan.

Nicklas Bendtner scored 3 goals against “Diversity FC United,â€￾ including an amazing winner in the final seconds, against Klinsmann’s ceaslessly-vile crew…

Bendtner, Eriksen, and Kjaer are their best players, and Krohn-Dehli is a pretty good, too. This should be one of the whitest team in Euro Cup 2016.

i checked germany's squad, not that bad, it's the usual non-white players plus bellarabi (he is called because of his performances with leverkusen, the team that real madrid beat in champions league)
sounds like a useless arab player to me
if he could replace ozil as the mandatory arab in the team in the future i wouldn't mind

not bad compared with france, who will start 3 whites, 1 arab and 7 blacks tonight against brazil

nice to see the french defense (black from the goalkeeper to the defensive midfielder) get destroyed in today's game
3-1 for brazil
evra and sagna have been particularly awful

Germany also started Gundogan, who just started getting called again after injury, so they have two "extra" non-whites in the squad.

yes i know, but i was affraid that they would have called like 5 new blacks :yuck:
khedira, what a joke, they still call him
it's very annoying when you have a player who is obviously not good enough and yet he keeps coming back
it's as if they were close friends with the coach
for a player like evra (who survived every french debacle, even the 2010 world cup) a pact with the devil must be the only way they are still playing internationally, evra must worship satan, it's the only explanation

I see where you are coming from, frederic. Germany's not as bad as France, although I do see increasing numbers of black players coming out of seemingly nowhere on Germany's youth teams (that the people on Germany's Big Soccer board never mention before they are called). I'm hoping they don't filter up to the National Team.

How players like Khedira and Evra keep getting called up is mind boggling. It's probably because he seems to be good friends with Ozil and Boateng, who no doubt convince Loew to keep calling him.

Anyway, we'll see what their lineup against Georgia looks like in a couple days.

Ya know it's funny, when I Studied in Germany in fall 2013, there was a qualifying match (for the 14 WC) against Ireland. A huge billboard had been erected in promotion of the match on a bridge above a tram stop, where I would get off to go to school. It featured three players: podolski, özil, and khedira, none of whom are ethnically German. That was when I got a strange feeling that German soccer is being deliberately steered in a certain direction.

The Euro qualifiers resume today.

I see England is starting 7 whites against Lithuania.

Among the other games today.. Spain vs. Ukraine and Montenegro vs. Russia.

The Montenegro-Russia match has been suspended due to one of the Montenegro fans throwing a flare onto the pitch and knocking out Russia's keeper, Igor Akinfeev.

about italy, i'm wondering, will balotelli play?
will he be replaced by okaka chuka?
or eder?

Conte didn't call any Blacks this time. Barring a miracle, I doubt we'll see Balotelli playing for Italy any time soon.
Among the players called up, there are 2 players who were hastily provided with an Italian passport so they can play for Italy: Vazquez - White Argentinian, and Eder - Mixed Brazilian. Many of the best Italian players are getting old (Totti, Di Natale, Pirlo, Toni...) and there is little generational exchange because most Serie A teams prefer to buy ready-made foreign players than build talent at home.

I figured I'd give some breakdowns of some of the more "diverse" Euro countries who played today:

Belgium
Started: 6 whites, 3 blacks, an Arab, and an Indonesian
Finished: 7 whites, 3 blacks, and an Indonesian

Norway
Started: 9 whites, 1 black, 1 Arab
Finished: Same ratio

Italy
Started: 11 whites
Finished: 10 whites, 1 Brazilian

Holland
Started: 5 whites, 5 blacks, 1 Arab
Finished: 6 whites, 4 blacks. 1 Arab

Wales
Started: 9 whites, 2 blacks
Finished: 10 whites, 1 black

As for the results of these teams: Croatia (all-white) blasted Norway 5-1, Belgium defeated hapless Cyprus 5-0, Italy drew with Bulgaria (not the best result..) Wales beat Israel 3-0, and Holland drew with Turkey. I'm glad Holland didn't win, as that allows Iceland and the Czech Republic to stay at the top of the group, hopefully forcing them to go through the playoff.

Also, Iceland continued their strong qualifying start by blasting Kazakhstan 3-0!! I hope they qualify for Euro 2016.

Wayne Rooney scored his 47th international goal in Friday's 4-0 win over Lithuania - which means he is now only two goals behind England's all-time record goalscorer, the legendary Bobby Charlton...

he also offered a goal to a black player
the most disrespected player right now with gareth bale in my opinion
by the way gareth bale scored 2 goals with wales

Watched the Netherlands-Turkey match (1:1). A pretty miserable Dutch team I must say, with little creativity. The Turks created more real opportunities and had they won it wouldn't have been undeserved. Incredible how the Dutch filled their team with mediocre Black players. And no matter how many of these Black "talents" they put, the most dangerous players are still the "old" native Dutch - Sneijder (30) and Huntelaar (31). The team obviously sorely missed that prick Arjen Robben (31) and (to a lesser extent) Robin Van Persie (31) who didn't play yesterday. Similar as with Italy - there is little generational exchange, with Black and Arab "talents" taking the place of the native Dutch. Compare that with teams like Spain and Germany who are keeping a steady stream of White talents alive (even though Germany now adopted the "obligatory-token-black-arab-turk-player(s)" policy).
