I have noticed several posters mention how many times a WR or TE is
targeted by a passer. What I haven't noticed until now is that
ESPN is posting "targeted" in their NFL stats. I don't know how many of
you have seen this or paid much attention to it, but I am wondering
exactly how they determine what a target is. I mean, its not always
easy to know for sure who the target is. It is an interesting stat to
look at nonetheless. Here's the stats from last night's game so you can
see what I'm talking about.
