Too many players were "outraged" byt the notion that the NFL should tell them how to wear their hair. As much as the players want to "express" themselves, it's simply not safe. Quite a few whit players have long hair as well, like Hawk and Curtis, and also Travis LaBoy.

They could still have the long hair just put it up under the helmet. I think it's disgusting to see those black players with long dreadlocks, cause that's what they are--dreadlocks. Never a more disgusting hair style existed.

I like the endzone antics. I remember my touchdowns and I always wanted to spike the ball over the goal post. I was afaid I would embrassas myself..so i did a little wiggle. Girls loved it. Yes, I was a showboat. However I remember Riggins, when I was young, had a Mohawk hairdo, loved that. Nobody complained. The best and I mean the BEST, ever td antics was Rob Lytle of the Denver Broncos. He scored a TD in a SuperBowl, quickly got up and raced to the endzone seats and give the ball to a man in a wheelchair. Still send shivers down my spine. BTW, I like the worm.
