Drew Wright was the third string rb for Boise State this year. He actually averaged 5.1 ypc. while Doug Martin and DJ Harper averaged less than 5 and were both seniors this year while Wright is only a sophomore. Does anyone on this board think Wright could start next year? With only Shoemaker leaving for the NFL this team could have a starting white rb with 5 white wr's, two who are very exploseive ( the Burroughs brothers and a whole bunch of white defensive backs in the 2 deep. Its to bad Boise was't a Mormom school as they would attract even more white athletes.

Here is Wright's bio from the Boise State website. I haven't looked up his high school highlights yet, but from his size he looks to be a scatback. Boise State mostly uses him in the appropriate WSTD role. Looking at his HS writeup in his bio, he is the typical white RB, all-state honors, best of the best, etc., yet is ignored by recruiters. A poster could make a full-time job out of simply looking up and documenting "overlooked" white skill position players all around this country.

He has looked good in his limited playing time. Unfortunately, his fumble cost Boise State there one loss this season.
