Unbelievable that any GM would spend all that dough on this guy, all he had was that herky-jerky motion and no stuff. That and he didn't act like a guy who belonged in the big leagues, enthusiasm is one thing but acting like a kid is another ball game

Dontrelle Willis: 0-6 in 12 starts with a combined 110 walks and hits in 69 IP to go along with a 5+ ERA in 2011 for the Reds. I guess Dusty Baker finds it important to keep running a black American starting pitcher out there, even though he's been pathetic for 4 years now.

Looks like the Willis local's next stop will be the bullpen in South Philly...

The Dontrelle Willis experiment is beginning to dwarf the Kordell Stewart experiment in length of time and commonsense. My advice to the parents of any black kids that are left handed-teach them to be a pitcher-skill and results will not be needed on the path to fame and fortune.

My local rag brings the news that the Cincinnati Reds have signed the washed up never was Dontrelle Willis to a minor league contract. It's items like this that remind me that the caste system exist in sports and shows no signs of ebbing. Here's a guy that should be well into the typical black ex-athlete role of publicity generator for some DWF based business while racking up the standard debt and domestic abuse issues so common amongst his demographic. Yet still the possibility of a Major League job is offered. Undoubtedly a White player is going to miss out on a roster spot whilst this semi-tragic soap opera continues to play out.
