They even give Nate Robinson more press, or at least equal press. You know why though? Because apparently the guy is a big pain who annoys the heck out of D'Antoni. I mean he benched the guy for 14 games! lol. I was happy D'Antoni took a stand. I understand Nate is an interesting novelty act, but the press would rather follow that negativity and drama instead of focusing on and championing a guy like Lee who works hard, is consistent and get's the job done.

Also, the journalists always make it a point to mention Lee's supposed weakness as a defender. That's what they hang their hat on because their is nothing else to criticize.

I can't lie and say that David Lee hasn't been treated well by the local papers here. You are correct that Robinson does get more press since since he is a little selfish afflete who acts like a 12 year old. Being that Lee plays in the largest market he should be getting more press and should have been on the ALL-Star team in the first place and not just an injury replacement.

Since the dunk contest was so bad maybe David Lee should have been in it.
He's a good dunker and is creative.
He could have won by dunking Nate Robinson.

Another outstanding game for lee with 28 points, 15 rebounds, and 3 assists. The Knicks bringing in McGrady seems to be benefiting David so far as I watched the game last night and McGrady was feeding Lee on the inside all game.

Also I might add that Spaniard Sergio Rodriguez is an incredible player. He has to be one of the quickest guards in the league and was blowing by Nate Robinson and all the other affletes at will yesterday. He mentioned that he modeled his game after Steve Nash and Jason Williams.

David Lee in League Leader standings:

14th in Points - 20.3

5th in rebounds - 11.5

4th in Double Doubles - 39

10th in FG% - .558

This guy is having an amazing year.

About Nate Robinson, I had no idea he was traded until today. Two weeks ago we cancelled our subscription to the local anti-white paper we were getting for years, so I haven't been following it.

David Lee is a stud period! He brings more effort than the whole Knicks Team night in and out. If they let him go, they are stupid. If they do, I would prefer he goes to a white friendly team where he will feel more at home. At least he has one teammate in NY like himself. Imagine being the only white player or 1 of 2 out of 12 players that are white. It can't be easy. He is a class guy on and off the court. David Lee is also a legit all star. Lee is one of the top 5 big men in the nba period!

I can't say enough about Lee. Last night he scored 23 points, had 18 boards, and 2 blocked shots. He's basically unstoppable. He needs to improve his post up game a bit though. I'd like him to develop a complete post up game like Kaman who uses a variety of head fakes to score.

The Knicks are my favorite team right now because they start Gallinari and Lee and Sergio Rodriguez gets minutes and even started some games. Sadly it looks as if David Lee will be gone next season because the Knicks won't pay him what he's worth.

Well the Knicks are going to sign Lebron James or another big free agent. It won't hurt Lee though. He'll be signed by someone and will continue to be a star.

Great game for Lee today!! He had 27 points and 20 rebounds! Gallinari added 26 points as well. Also Budinger of the opposing Rockets scored 18.

Lee is Mr. Double Trouble for and team he faces. The best all around white player other than Nowitzki and Nash!

Gallinari has been tearing it up recently and Budinger just needs more minutes. The guy will be a future all star.

Lee posted his first career triple-double last night in a loss to the Warriors. Lee had a season-high 37 points, 20 rebounds and 10 assists

David Lee is the first NBA player since Kareem Abdul Jabbar to put up a 30p-20r-10a game.

I just noticed what a great night Lee had yesterday. The 37 points was a season high and tied a career high. Too bad he probably won't be back in NY next year. Gallinari also had a nice game with 29 points!!

I just noticed something as well, how close whiteathlete33 is getting to a important milestone around here.

Thanks for reminding me Guest301! 5,000 is almost there. Also I have a feeling the Knicks will get rid of Gallinari. He's playing very well as of late and if they sign big free agents they won't resign him.

There are benefits in playing for a poor team. It gives an untested player lots of room to grow and improve. Nowitzki, Nash, Stojakovic, Pau & Marc Gasol, Bogut, Bargnani, Love, Udrih all benefited from such humble beginnings. Now, it's David Lee and Gallinari.

Having lot's of experience as a 1st option player, can make one mentally and physically tough and prepared, especially when going to another team. What worked so well for Pau Gasol will work for David Lee and Gallinari, wherever team they go to next season.

Lee is averaging 20.1 points and 12 rebounds a game. Amazing stats for this man child. I want to see him go to a team where he is appreciated. Dallas, Phoenix, and even Utah would all be good fits for him. What a season he is having!

Lee has been moved back to his original forward position.  The Knicks have Barron at center now.
That's where he needs to play. If he were paired with a 3 point shooting center, such as Okur, that would be an incredible combination.

Was checking on David Lee's progress with the Warriors this year, and I didn't realize he's been out for two weeks with an infected elbow. The infection occured after accidentally hitting the Knicks' Wilson Chandler in the mouth. Chandler lost two teeth, and Lee has had two operations to clean the infection. Weird.

Anyway, it looks like Lee's scoring numbers are down a bit, but its only an 8 game sample.

Lee is only averaging 15 ppg thus far. That's quite a bit less than last season. On the plus he's averaging 10 rebounds a game. Maybe ballhog Monta Ellis is taking up some of Lee's shots.
