I've read a lot about bitcoin but have never used it, and know zilch about how to set up donations through cryptocurrency on this site. If you do, or anyone else does and wants to help, send me a pm.

Not a private message but you can download a bitcoin wallet but the advice I would say is to get a good one like trust wallet. It's free to download to your computer or smartphone. To me it's better to have a wallet(think of a bank on your phone or computer)that can hold many types of crypotocurrencies including bitcoin which is the most popular. Then once you download it you will have an wallet address. You can post that here and we can send you money directly to your computer or phone wallet. You can also send money to friends or family the same way. It's way faster than paypal or western union and a little cheaper to send or receive money. I hope this helps Don.

Unfortunately I would need a lot more help with the logistics and how it works and how to connect it to the site than that.

There are hundreds of videos with step by step directions on youtube and other sites including articles with pictures for every step. Let me know if I can help you find one by a basic internet search for step by step instructions on creating a bitcoin wallet should do. They have bitcoin atms and checkcashing places that sell bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. It's only confusing for a short time.
