I know this is a match up that does not involve a white fighter, but over the last couple of years Miguel Cotto has earned my utmost respect. This fight on Saturday will be a life and death struggle for both men. Incidently, Clottey from what I have read and heard is a great person as well as fighter.
Last year I said the Cotto vs Margarito would an all time great fight. It was, however, Margarito turned out to be a another Barry Bonds---he cheated with most likely was loaded plaster of paris gloves and fruadulently KO'd Cotto.
Since this is the boxing forum I hope that I am not breaking any rules by posting this. I hope that Cotto wins and puts on a hell of a performance. This man is a great fighter as well as great man. Never talks sh.t, very humble almost to a fault and lets his fists do the talking.
This fight will be just as spectacular as the Cotto v Margarito fight but without one cheating. Can't wait. Go Cotto!
