As Division 1 Caucasian corner back numbers continue to dwindle I just wanted to point out a few bright spots though nothing is written in stone.

Former safety Sean Sylvia is apparently starting for Boston College this year where he played sparingly last year due to injury.
He will be backed up by the fleet and underused James McCaffrey.

BYU plans on starting versatile Mike Hague at the boundary corner and the good news is mission returnee Trevor Bateman and redshirt frreshman Justin Hanneman also appear to be in th mix for playing time on a highly ranked team.

Indiana should have two corners in Greg Heban and Nick Stone but Stone and his speed were needed on the offense as Indiana's wide outs have not had a game breaker in some time. Heban is the starting free safety at the moment.

Super fast Seth Cunningham should be starting for Akron.

Gavin McDaniel , Anthony Bacha and Nich Hughes appear to be in for some time at Air Force..

Some publications have Nate Carpenter starting this year for Ohio. Along with rb Beau Blankenship, speedy wr's in Chase Cochran and Matt Walter and possibly 2 starting white safeties this might be my favorite team to watch this year.

Army has a sophmore corner pushing for a starting spot in Tony Giovanelli. He has an older brother Joey who may get some decent time at rb this year.

Preferred redshirt freshman walk-on Dan Fadelli appears to have locked up second string for California.

And Rocco Scarfone is pushing for first string at East Carolina.

There are others like Mike Terpin of Ohio, Blake Poston of SMU and about a bakers dozen more possibly getting playing time this year but its not as good a situation as the rb spot for whites in college.

Some talented corners we may see down the road are Luke Kellum of Wyoming, Anthony Cioffi of Rutgers, Kasey Gaines at Penn State, Kory Gaines at UNLV and possibly super fast ( 10.57 100 meters ) Ty Branch at Rice.

T.T,

Great research on these guys. Thanks for bringing them to my attention. I will keep an eye out for them. If I notice any white CBs I will be sure to add them to this list. Keep up the good work!
