Justin Holland of the CSU Rams was injured in last weeks
game and is likely out for the rest of the season. This is
a huge loss since Holland was one of the nations top
quarterbacks and had developed a chemistry with his 2
top receivers.Colorado State has 2 receivers in the top
20 receiveing yards in the country.David Anderson was in
the top 3 in the nation. The backup qb who came in is only
a freshman and showed the lack of practice time.David
Anderson only had 2 catches for 30 yards,100 yards below
his weekly game average.Hopefully, they can get in a groove quickly with Wyoming this week.CSU is one of the
funnest teams to watch in the country. This is such a shame for the team and Anderson who had a incredible chance to lead the nation in receiving. In the off season,
Anderson worked on his speed with champion sprinter
Maurice Greene and others. It has really payed off.At least Holland and Anderson will be back next year for
their senior years.CSU still can make a bowl too if they
keep winning.Good luck to them the rest of the way.

Colorado State had the rather amazing distinction earlier this year against BYU where every player who ran, caught and threw the ball was white! Given that there are only three white tailbacks in all of I-A who run with any regularity, this game was a real throwback. CSU utilized two white tailbacks, two white receivers, a white tight end and of course a white quarterbackagainst BYU. No blacks had a catch or run. There's probably no way to find out the last time this happened at the I-A level, but I'd bet it's been at least 10 years, and could easily be closer to 20, maybe even more.

I am interested to see how Colorado State fairs against
New Mexico tommorow.New Mexico is a tough team who like
the Rams has underacheived this year.I really hope that
they get the ball to David Anderson tommorow. He was in
the top 3 in receiving before the star qb Holland went
out for the year.Since then,he had 32 yards receiving in
1 game and 0 in another. The backup qb needs to know who
the go to guy is!Give Anderson the ball!Good luck to the
Col. State Rams tommorow.

The Rams aren't the same team without Justin Holland. Not that he was great by any stretch, but freshman Caleb Hanie is a real project in the making. They were crushed by #8 Utah tonight. David Anderson had just two receptions for the entire game. Kyle Bell got to run the ball some in garbage time and ended with 5/35. He looked very strong. Jaunarajs had only three rushes as CSU went with two blacks as their main tailbacks.

Utah is definitely a team to root for with their #8 ranking. Their starting lineup is about half white, with the other half evenly divided between blacks and Samoans and Hawaiians. Two of their four starting wide receivers are white, and QB Alex Smith is a stud -- he threw four more TD passes in this game and still has zero interceptions for the season. Add to that his running ability and it's quite a package of talent. Safety Morgan Scalley had a huge game -- he returned a fumble 88 yards for a touchdown, and also had two interceptions. And oh yes, he returns kickoffs for Utah as well. But in spite of that kind of ability he's a safety not a cornerback, can't get carried away now can we.

Colorado State has been a disappointment. I guess
it shouldn't be because it was so predictable that
they would bench Jaunarajs once the black guys got
healthy. And Anderson is a nominee for the wide
receiver award, I believe, so it would have been
great to see big numbers from him pretty much every
Saturday (but he's on a bad team so it would have
been unlikely anyway). Oh well.

On the bright side, Utah started with three white LBs
and two white safeties. And they're ranked number 8
in the country. That's pretty cool. Of course there
could be some injuries there, too.

Justin Holland is one of the top 5 - 10 qb's in the nation.I agree with you Donwas. They just can't seem
to move the chains on a consistant basis.Justin has
the presence about him and the leadership skills. Some
qb's just have it and Holland does.No one has suffered
more than David Anderson. There was talk of maybe jumping
to the NFL but I think that he will be back for his senior year along with Holland. They will be a fun team
next season and with Kyle Bell running the ball!

Here's the team I've been waiting to post because they had no pictures for their players. Guess what, they still don't, so I'm just going on what I know about them. Ya'll help me fill in the blanks. These guys have some awesome uniforms. Here are the 2005 starting white Rams.

Offense
QB-Justin Holland
SE-David Anderson
FL-Dustin Osborn
TE-Matt Bartz
LT-Mike Brisiel
LG-Jason Haskell
C-Albert Bimper
RG-Josh Day
RT-Clint Oldenburg

Defense
WLB-Luke Adkins Defensive leader of the team in 2004.
LE-Jesse Nading
DT-Blake Smith

RB Kyle Bell is listed second on the depth chart, but could possibly start a game or two. Other whites who will see playing time are H Back-Kevin McPeek?, a bunch of white linemen, and defensive players such as RE Bob Vomhof, and Matt Rupp. This list, especially on defense, is nowhere near complete. I need some guys who are close to the program to help me out here, and I'll add them to this post.

WR Dustin Osborn
FS Ben Stratton
SS Travis Garcia (looks white despite surname)

The pictures are up now Colonel Reb. This team looks good. Also, Kyle Bell had a good scrimmage today. He had 7 rushes for 52 yards and 1 td. He also had 1 catch for 33 yards. The article contains praise from Lubick for Bell and Ben Stratton who could have injured his knee seriously.

Lubick has fielded teams with significant numbers of whites and has been successful consistently. Go CSU!

it will be a huge shame if Ben Stratton is seriously hurt. that guy is a STUD! he started out as a corner, and moved to safety after hissophomore year (where he started all 13 games). combining great size (6-2, 207) with fluid hips (insert unbelievable gasp here) and above average cover skills the move to safety has allowed him to make a lot more plays all over the field despite being the Rams best cover guy at the time of the move.

if any of you have watched much CSU football, you know their secondary is not a strong point, but Stratton is all over the field and since the movehas becomearguably their most important defensive player. i hope he has a speedy recovery!

CSU needs to bounce back in a big way this week.It won't be easy as Coach Lubbick said that was one of his toughest losses he can rememeber. The whole team is down and depressed but it is only one game. They are far too good of a team to pack it up.Especially after last season.Look for them to win in a big way this Saturday with both David Anderson & Kyle Bell having huge games. This is still probably my favorite team to watch overall.

I guess I'm lucky. In the local area they are showing the Col.State vs Minnestoa Game.I actually get to see my CSU Rams play 2 weeks in a row and I don't live in Colorado. This is great. It will be a very tough game but I think they can pull it out.

I was very dissapointed in CSU today. They got killed on both sides of the ball.David Anderson would have had 100 yard easy but Holland kept throwing bad passes.Anderson was open again and again!Kyle Bell never had a chance to contribute as the game was a blow out from the start.Minnesota just man handled the Rams.It will be tough to bounce back from yet another 0-2 start to the season. They have so much talent but sure haven't played like it.I think they still haven't recovered from losing another nail biter to rival Colorado.Get it together Rams.I really feel bad for David Anderson because this is his senior year and he is as good as they come!

There were two other whites starting on CSU's defense tonight, for a total of 15 starting whites! Great game tonight by Kyle Bell, David Anderson, Justin Holland, and Dustin Osborn! Way to go guys, and Coach L.!

Colorado State will be playing Navy in the Poinsettia Bowl on December 22 in San Diego at 7:30 Pacific Time on ESPN 2. Kyle Bell will get another chance to impress the NFL scouts, and I look forward to seeing it. David Anderson and Dustin Osborn will also get another chance to show off in what could be a very interesting matchup!

AWESOME!

I had heard that CSU probably wasn't going to get a Bowl Berth a few days ago and am now excited to see that news was wrong! CSU (and my Oregon Ducks) are really the only teams I am interested in seeing in a bowl... well maybe Notre Dame might be interesting to see since they have some good players to watch.

Hopefully there will be some good performances that will make that Navy Coach eat his anti-White words that he had spoken a few weeks ago (what is that guys name anyways?)

Uberberserker, I think you are getting Navy's coach mixed up with Air force's coach unless I missed something.

Fisher DeBerry the Air Force Coach made the silly remarks. Navy is Coached by Paul Johnson. He is a good coach[they beat Air Force]. Colorado State and Navy should be a good match up. Lots of White players for both teams.

Yeah its going to be the anti caste bowl. This website should sponsor it, I can see it now:

"The Castefootball.us Poinsettia Bowl"</font>

My local rag has this capsule summary of Colorado State in its bowl preview: "It's all about the pass for the Rams, whose running game has been a huge disappointment."

Let's see, Kyle Bell, 942 rushing yards in 8 starts, or 118 yards per game. Some "huge disappointment."

That writer is full of shtick! Nobody is disappointed in their running game, if anything Kyle has been the most dependable person on an offense that is usually pass happy. They have gotten more running this year than any of the last several years. I'd like to know who the last RB was that this so called newspaper thought wasn't a disappointment?
smiley7.gif

What a difference it is between this and the Mississippi press that has been falling all over themselves trying to praise some freshman RB at Ole Miss for running 650 yards this year! They make a big deal about him breaking an Ole Miss freshman rushing record, but they don't mention that there have been only a handful of freshman RB's who have started more than a game or two since their first year of eligibility to play varsity in 1972. The only reason this happened is because the other RB's were either hurt or couldn't run at all. 650 yards, big deal! I could run that much if given the chance.

Kyle Bell has really defied odds. He stands as
a symbol for the legitimacy of not only European genetics, but
European practices. Concepts such as work ethic that make
football so useful.

The way the media operates, a white running back
automatically a poor football player. CSU needs to establish
itself as a major football program that rivals FSU. Then the NFL
would be half white.
