Thanks for the head's up rajuncajun1! Some up & coming WR's coming up at Stanford w John Humphreys;Colby Bowman & Bryce Ferrell If the NFL were to follow the HS Recruiting scripts....3 White WR's would be starting (64 on 32 teams) & Liam Clifford would be starting in 3 WR sets(96). Sad only 4 white WR's in Top 100...would have hoped to see 10 or 11.... Stopped at Top 150 for Safeties ...was actually impressed 4 listed in Top 38. But then thinned out until #65 finally appeared. So a 5th Starting Safety in the NFL sneaks into the line up? Will Shipley recruiting rankings as the #1 All Purpose Back/#3 Overall RB....Gets the McCaffrey role at the elite table. Then it's crickets the rest of the Top 100; not another RB until #132 Hunter Rice (VA) headed to ARMY. Encouraging to see CB's at the FBS thriving (Riley Moss-Iowa; Ethan Bonner-Stanford; Hudson Clark-Arkansas; Andrew Bird-Rice).....but the White CB in 2021 Class has gone the way of the dinosaur.
Appreciate the list @TwentyTwo ! Definitely some positives amongst the usual caste mud. Seems like more White Safeties than usual! Dabo just compared Shipley to All Pro Christian Mccaffrey! https://247sports.com/Article/Natio...B-Will-Shipley-Christian-McCaffrey-157095336/ 4Star LB Yanni Karlaftis to Purdue!
In a truly dumb ass decision. Wisconsin DE Hayden Nelson has decided to decommit from Syracuse, walk away from 12 other scholarships for a Walk-on opportunity with UCLA. Uh what the hell you doing buddy?! UCLA has been trash for years now make those fuckers offer that scholarship!
Here's a good example of Caste System at work in The Deep South. Will Ferrell Lol 6ft 185lbs 4.55 4.13 agility 32 inch vert Ends up at Henderson State. His other 2 offers were Faulkner and Millsaps College?! https://247sports.com/player/will-ferrell-46085934/
Nick Morris Jr (TX) 6'-3" 225 ILB commited to Duke. 16 sacks and 24 tfl in 2020. Is one of the best players on Austin Westlakes defense. Hayden Bray (TX) 6'-5" 255 DL Has gotten PWO from Oklahoma, University of Texas, Baylor, only Air Force, Incarnate Word, Columbia, and University of Pennsylvania have offered scholarships. 12 sacks and 18 tfl in 2020. Another great defensive player from Austin Westlake. Michael Taaffe (TX) 6'-0" 180 DB/WR Is going to Rice as a PWO. Has gotten defensive player MVP the past 2 championships he played in. His 2020 stats are 61 tackles, 10 PBU’s, 7 TFL’s, 5 INT’s on defense. 18 receptions, 297 yards, 3 TD’s on offense.
Sometimes you can just google a player's name and ask for his 40 or 100 times and find it that way. If that player has attended a SPAR combine you can get it off the official sheet.
In State RB Grover Bortolotti is headed to Wisconsin. 5'10 185 4.6 speed. https://247sports.com/college/wisco...ng-2021-Class-as-Preferred-Walk-On-160803147/
No problem! Pleasant surprise as he was under the radar and had his SR season cut short..Badgers must have liked what they saw! At the very worse he might end up at Safety, hopeful he stays at RB though. Keep an eye on Brady Schipper as well. '21 might be the year he works himself into RB rotation.
