Trying to find great White athletes with immense speed etc. feels at times like being out in a desert searching for water. On that note this past week has been one of the most frustrating for me because instead of striking gold (or water) I ended up seeing some sort of mirage. I am still in pursuit but all my leads are turning up dry which is very unusual. And disconcerting especially since I thought I found a gem. Don't bother asking me anything. Until I get legitimate info I will stay quiet on the matter.

I love discovering super great White athletes whether on my own or finding out about them here at CF. That initial rush is a special thing.

Now that I am done with my soliloquy onto players that aren't mirages.

TE Thomas Fidone (6'5" 225) is being pursued by all the heavy hitters with Notre Dame chomping at the bit. Fidone looks like the next Travis Kelce. He is that promising.

Some commits.

TE Jack Witmer ( 6'6" 225) Virginia.

Edge Nathan Hoke (6'3" 225) BYU. Will go on mission.

DB Jack Whitten (6'1" 180) Brown.

DE Zach Myers (6'4" 245) Air Force.

DE Chris Burkhalter (6'5" 230) Oregon. He is highly rated.

One other standout to keep an eye on is the speedy OLB Jack Stephens out of Memphis. He is 6'2"190 and is sometimes listed as an athlete. Indiana looks to be the front runner at this point.

Researching BYU I ran into Nathan Hoke also.....
He’s the son of ex Steeler Chris Hoke......

Matthew Langlois to K-State ! They have him listed as an Athlete, more promise as a Safety?!

SDSU with another Blue Collared LB in Brady Anderson.

Safety Sam Knipe to Navy.

TE Matt Lauter to Boise State.

*Interesting about Hoke's son to BYU. Be interesting to see if he grows into a DL like his pops. Already 6'3 225 before his mission.

Notre Dame reloading their famous OL with 4 Star Rocco Spindler. 6'4 315 should see action as a True Freshman/Sophomore.

Been discussed here before and a badly needed "diversity" pick up for Kansas State whose 2021 commit class to date looked a little monochromatic (black). Not out of the question Langlois somehow becomes a cornerback? Pretty sure he is heading to the defensive backfield either way.

Nice to see KState land an athletic Honkey.

Huge catch by the Georgia Bulldogs.

6'3" 235 TE Brock Bowers is a top tier athlete with blazing speed. Ranks among the best tight ends in his class. A game changer.

3 Star TE Jake Renda (6'5" 230) switched his commitment from Michigan State to Pittsburgh.

Meanwhile of most interest to me is speed demon WR Drew Donley (6'2" 170). He is down to 8 schools. That isn't exactly whittling things down.

Here are the 8 teams-Ole Miss, Boise State, Cincinnati, Hawaii, Northwestern, Arkansas State, Army and Air Force.

Below is my take for whatever that is worth. Did I hear some one yell out a dime?

Arkansas State gets a big thumbs down from me.

Army and Air Force make little sense. Run oriented teams. I think he listed them because it looks good on his resume. He is obviously a good student if they are showing interest.

Hawaii sounds terrible.

Cincinnati isn't awful but still a non Power 5 school.

Boise State isn't in a Power 5 conference either. At one point Boise was attractive but recently they have really gone caste. Again not awful but I prefer the next two schools.

Ole Miss would give him big exposure as long as he plays.

Northwestern is the school I am hoping for the most though. The Big Ten is easily my favorite Power 5 conference and Northwestern under Pat Fitzgerald have been a solid program.

I just ask one favor from Drew. Make up your mind already. Ha!

This might be the wrong thread but our local highschool BOE voted not to play football this year. Our school has been a powerhouse for the last 15 yr and it was very promising looking this year. I love Friday night football.

Couple of low profile commits.

Ryan Dupont (6'1" 225) LB to Air Force.

Logan Johnson a small fry WR (5'7" 165) to Troy. Quick water bug with remote NFL chances could still become a factor at the college level.

But the big news lands tomorrow. WR Drew Donley will make his school selection. Perhaps the most important commit in the 2021 class as far as I am concerned. Why not? Wide receiver is my favorite position.

Nice! I'll add a couple more of WRs! Jack Reynolds(5'10 170)to Charlotte and Zach Poff(5'11 190) to Dayton!

Let's hope Donley chooses Northwestern!

Undersized DE Kenneth Eiden to Montana St. Sack machine in Montana HS .

On WR Jack Reynolds Bucky I can't positively ID him as 100% White?

Drew Donley the speedster WR (6'2" 170) has chosen Mississippi. I would have preferred Northwestern as well but it is more apples and oranges and Ole Miss is a major school from the "biggest" conference in college football so all in all a good development.

Sure the hell beats Arkansas State. At the end of the day the best we can hope for is studs like Donley landing at high profile schools and mission accomplished here.

There is always that fear he could be swept aside from an overwhelming black program like Ole Miss but if things work out well for him down there he should see his name called on draft day.

I will go out on a limb and say he will get drafted some day.

@Shadowlight I can see that now. His brother is Charlotte's current QB Chris.

Ah man! Was hoping he'd avoid the Deep South Caste stronghold that is New Piss. Disappointed in Donley, I'll go out on a limb and say he'll have to transfer out in a year or two. Which will make his NFL journey even tougher..

I understand and share your concerns regarding Donley. In fact it got me thinking about White WRs who have been drafted from the SEC this past century. May be missing one or two but I came up with the following very thin list:

2004-Derek Abney (KY)
2010-Riley Cooper (FL)
2011 -Kris Durham (GA)
2013-Ryan Swope (A&M)

Florida produced two more with Chris Doering-1996 and Travis McGriff-1999,

Pretty bleak. And Trey Quinn's gloomy experience at LSU serves as a cautionary tale.

But I have adjusted my mindset a touch. In order to better battle caste I think it is important to penetrate enemy lines and the SEC is the number one enemy. For caste leaners if they see most of the top White WRs congregating in say the Big Ten they start to reason they can't cut it in the big bad SEC. When they see White skill players veering away from the black SEC it only compounds their caste think.

Perhaps I am foolishly seeing the glass half full here but there are signs things might be breaking in our favor in this depressing conference. Texas A & M WR Caleb Chapman has star potential. And Bama's WR Slade Bolden should play an expanded role this year. Missouri has WR Barrett Banister and Mississippi State has WR Austin Williams. Maybe Arkansas has a White one in the wings?

This past year Vanderbilt brought in three star WR Logan Kyle and Georgia nabbed quick three star slot Ladd McConkey.

And Donley isn't the only pro potential White WR the SEC is bringing in next season. Tennessee landed one with the very talented Walker Merrill. Vanderbilt nabbed highly rated WR Jack Bech.

Not exactly a huge groundswell but at least a detectable pulse which given the conference is a move in the right direction.

In the next few years we will find out whether the few promising White skill players continue to flame out in the SEC or they start to break through the caste wall to some extent. It helps that Donley's dad Doug is a former pro who knows the ropes.

All valid points. Here's to hoping it works out for Donley and some of the others mentioned! It is nice to see an uptick in our WRs to The SEC. Better than before in many ways .

Vandy also has Ezra McCallister coming in, another WR in SEC country.

I'm g;ad you brought up the electric Ezra McCallister. In most reports he is listed as an athlete much like Penn State's Liam Clifford and Montana's Jace Klucewich. In fact both Jace and Ezra sport the exact same resume. By their names you see the WR/RB/KR/S position outlay. They both are about the same size (5'10" 170) and (6'0" 175) and run 4.4 plus 40 yard dashes. Strangely though Montana seems intent on moving Jace to safety whereas it does seem Vanderbilt will utilize Ezra much like Alabama uses Slade Bolden. As a primary WR who can perform a few Swiss army knife details as well. I anticipate seeing Ezra run back punts and or kicks too.

I get the feeling Penn State is placing Liam Clifford at WR too but then again Tory Apke came in as a WR and look where he ended up?

Jack Pospisil to Central Missouri State. The offers never really came for the speedster with similar traits to McCallister and Klucewich. 4.44 speed and ends up at a D2 School! CSU is too busy investigating racism to pay attention and CU has no interest in a honkey from their own backyard apparently.

On a positive note, Pospisil likely won't have to being buried on a depth chart, should be able to see field early on.

In another head scratching move, QB Charles Wright committed to Texas. He continues the time honored tradition of White QBs willingly committed to overcrowded QB rooms.

ATH Cole Batson to BC! 6'4 190 hopefully stays at Safety or WR.

This is what one wants to avoid. Basically a death sentence for a WR. Not worth banking on him being that needle in a haystack type who breaks through.

ATH Cole Batson to BC! 6'4 190 hopefully stays at Safety or WR.

Early indications are he will shift to linebacker or tight end. Still a nice pick up and yet another rangy White hybrid defender with solid speed.

Justin Morris TE (6'4"215) to Ball State

Jared Gibble TE (6'4" 225) to Virginia Tech. He flipped from Charlotte so a step up. Has very good speed and potential.

Ryan Keeler DE (6'5" 250) to Rutgers. Highly rated player. Interestingly new /old HC Greg Schiano appears to be moving team in a better direction. He has also brought in ILB Austin Dean and WR Brayden Fox.

Plus he nabbed a transfer in the electric dual threat Noah Vedral from Nebraska. And if memory serves Vedral has two years of eligibility left.

Before I get to Wisconsin stuff the below players are listed as athletes on scout sites.

Gus McGee TE ( 6'5" 220) James Madison

Zach Vode Athlete ( 6'3" 210) Western Michigan

Two baseball defections:

Cade Granzow (6'3" 215) to Auburn

Trey Higgins (6'4" 200) to Miss State

Both are dual threat QBs and in the case of Higgins we could have been looking at a John Rhys Plumlee type who is fast but not quite as fast as JR Plumlee. Higgins might be making a big mistake but sources say he has great power.

Wisconsin is in the middle of a day time soap opera. Three names are spinning around in their maracas.

Jake Ratzlaff is a four star OLB who is waiting to hear where he picks in the October 9th NHL draft before he makes up his mind. I think he is committed to Minnesota to play hockey but the rumor is if he is taken low in the draft he will opt for football. And Wisconsin looks to be the leading contender for the two sport stud who is 6'3" 220. Most think he will end up opting for football.

Yanni Karlaftis (6'3" 205) is the younger brother of star George of Purdue. Both Purdue and Wisconsin are fighting over this highly rated OLB.

Joseph Manjack WR ( 6'3" 200) has been mentioned here before as he pulled out of his original commitment with SMU. Wisconsin is a front runner.

Odds are the Badgers would at least nab one if not two of the above highly rated prospects which will allow Bucky a peaceful night's sleep or two.

Top15 D2 program. Eh, Pospisil was being ignored because Colorado isn't seen as fertile recruiting ground aka too White. Surprisingly their conference has made some strides in putting some guys to the league. With his 4.4 speed should dominate D2.

LB makes sense for Batson. Plenty of room to fill out.

Keeler is a really great pickup for Rutgers. Glad to see them whiten up a bit with the gap toothed wigger running things lol.

Awesome to see Wisconsin in the mix with all 3 of those talented prospects. They need guys like this if they're ever to get over the hump that is Ohio State...
