    Wow, color me shocked.

Could it be that McCaffrey’s success in college and the NFL is starting to trickle down?

Ultimately I do think CMAC has made it much easier for white running backs to get noticed and he is probably inspriring a lot of young kids to play running back to be like him, I know it was like that for me (I wanted to be Wes Welker, even though I didn’t play slot). But I think with Will Shipley he’s simply too good to ignore (kind of like mccaffrey), when you have a kid with size, speed, skills, strength, and versatility as a freshman you can’t ignore him. If you look at his freshman highlights he does not look like a freshman at all (he’s 5’11” 185lbs) and he had incredible stats at RB, WR, and DB. I don’t want it to be this way but I’m sure he’s gonna get reclassified as an athlete and be recruited as a safety. He already said Arkansas liked him at receiver when they offered him

As it stands right now, the top 5 QB’s in the class are white (1 is mixed asian). The #1 RB is white, he and his brother are also standout lacrosse players and are NC State legacies. There is a white WR ranked #18 for WR and the #1 TE is white. The #1 OT prospect is white and his white teammate is the #2 DT. 2 white DE’s are top 3 for their positions. The #2 ILB and OLB are also white. Very early but looking like it could be a good class for us.

Now the most important thing for these young men to do is pick the right university where they can thrive right away. For example, Trey Quinn foolishly chose a Caste school with a history of scatter armed quotabacks when he selected LSU. He was a five star recruit and could have gone virtually anywhere. If he had torn it up for four years, instead of wasting two, then sitting out while transferring and finally kicking ass as a senior, he would have been a much higher pick then mr irrelevant.
